Nick I would just say Industrial. This tape is from 1982. Although the genre is slightly older (mid 70s), I think that this can still be considered as the first wave.

Gekneveld actually, industrial is a too large term I think, throbbing gristle inventend it and if we refer to what they were doing such as cabaret voltaire and monte cazazza, nearly 90% of what we call industrial music isn't..
