Dongle and Gadget II student package was one of the best purchases I ever made

I've been seeing these selling cheaper than the Nomad key. What's the limitation of this version?

@@SimplestUsernameThe student package is the exact same, it’s just a marked down price for educators and students

I love how versatile the ETC Eos system is, especially for students.

Does Nomad work on new Mac Minis? Running Sonoma

This is a wonderful video. Much better than mine on the same topic. I wish it was out years ago when I was trying to figure this stuff out. 1. Element mode has restricted feature set compared to eos mode. That bit me a ton of times back when eos mode had a devastating bug that got me in the habit of staying in element mode. 2. Computer must have 64 bit processor. 32 bit machines won't run Nomad. That bit me once. 4. I only just now learned that the a and c on the keyboard shortcuts stand for alt and control. If it means alt, why doesn't it just say alt/ctrl? It's only 2-3 extra characters. That has bit me thousands of times when I've wished I could use a keyboard shortcut but I had no idea what the greek letters were trying to say with a3 whatever.

Will a dongle-equipped laptop communicate with an Element I that was upgraded to the Windows 7 platform?
@SamuelH20206 ай бұрын
Should do as long as your runing the same software version (and build) and fixture library, then it should work fine, just make sure there both connected to a network

Im new to ECT and lighting, what exactly is the difference between ion/element/eos?
@gavinshams4631 Жыл бұрын
ion, element and eos are simply just the models of different console(s)/ and also the software that they use. An ion is the name of console model that runs the EOS family software, and element is both a model of console and the name of another software that is very similar to eos but is specific to the element console series.
