Touching chemical equipment with a stick to summon a wind that can rip holes in time sounds like the most Japanese plot point ever. And so it is all the more puzzling that it wasn't written by the Japanese.

It's hard for me to imagine how those events takes place. Also, with time travel you have to assume that modifying a timeline doesn't create another alternative reality, wich is weird. Maybe there are other ways to take for his ending. Does Sega CD version have a different ending?

@@EntidadLibre Well, it's kinda different, he used his pendant to tap into the unlimited energy source, and took an owl with him through the passage of time. They both used their combined talents to help the Eternal Champion combat against his Dark Champion brother, by rectifying key moments in history.

Eternal Champions 2 on Sega CD is the best fighting game to me..... so much stuff packed into 1 game. So many UNIQUE fighting styles and moves (RAVEN & Xavier especially) the ability to play as the 2 different versions of Eternal Champion AND the Dark Champion? Amazing! Oh and I like fighting with the chicken, snake, and puppy lol

@@Affan.1 man look up the vids from Challenge from the Darkside EC2 on Sega CD especially any breakdowns of RAVEN's or Xavier's Moveset....It's crazy. In general the Sega CD had some pretty incredible games that I will never let out of my library - GroundZero Texas, Heart of the Alien: Out of the World 1 and 2, Supreme Warrior, Dragon's Lair translated really good from the Arcade version, the Batman game, etc. Check it out!

The Yoshimitsu of Eternal Champions, and my favorite to use in combat. I love how you waited for the specific character animation on the Sega logo in your playthroughs. Him, Midknight, and Shadow are my favorite characters to use against friends. Thus they banned me from using Xavier back then.

This game reallly rattles my nerves . Sega had a good concept & could have made a real solid game out of this . The story was ass the boss was Total trash In design, story and everything gameplay wise The combat is just totally wonky Less is more should have been implemented here. Because everythyjisy felt like trying too hard . Stories,backgrounds, moves ,everything felt like it was just trying way too hard . I would have made an ec2…. Scrapping the sega cdgame 1.story-after the defeat of the alien entity the ec Heaven & hell sent two of its soldiers each to earth to recapture the escaped souls And I’d put darth ader from golden axe as the final boss but you wouldn’t know until you beat all 4 soldiers . Yup cross ip’s without hint or mention. With 4 comic style cut scenes for story (phantasy star 4) Simple .! Presentation * •Names under life bars •Chi icon bigger under life bar ,side of the timer •Select screen show all character Images at once •remove blue tile on background for select and a screen ,,replace with black & stars moving to look like 3d traveling in space (earth worm Jim,special stage ) •Better versus screen •Music more bass heavy, slower ,rock inf • the word kill instead of match 2 start fight •1fight ,2 life bars ,green then red When the green is depleted, winner voice taunts ,loser slowly gets up and the word kill starts the match. •single sfx on hits instead of double/ echo •character grunts on certain hits •blood on hard impact hits •ender announcing- (x)destroyed (z) •game ending has two comic panel scenes per character *hits have big , spark effects, color coded for different range of attack Light (yellow) medium (2 blue & green ) Heavy 3(red,yellow,blue ) block(white) Blocked specials (2 white and black ) Gameplay* •characters jump lower and less farther •longer animations for hit impacts •simple sf/mk move commands •multiple hit moves are button inputs instead of automatic •1 bounce on throws ,less distance •lessen time of moves that perform too long (Xavier,snake bite expl ) •Enders button command inputs instead of Location specific •character avoid hits regain a little life •taunt does not effect opponents chi •chi is in 4parts (hRd,md,lght) attacks take a different amount light1,medium2,heavy all 4-but can be performed with 2 ,but takes longer to replenish as a consequence Oh yeah !!
