This music takes me back to when games made me feel. Games today are more " realistic" and less imaginative. Eternal darkness was and is still one of the greatest horror adventures to date.

I think it catches you off guard since all music to that point has been tense and foreboding and suddenly there's a flute with a pleasant melody, then of course it twists that melody into something sinister as Max begins his descent into the house. It's the best track in the game I think.

I agree, this game was worth buying a Gamecube for. It's simply one of the best-made horror games ever, with fantastic atmosphere, writing, and voicework. Just check out the cutscene 'Insanity Prevails' if you don't believe me.

It's a BLAST!!! Seriously, it's the 2nd best game I've ever played. It's espacially effectful in a very dark and silent room. It doesn't look scary while you're not playing it, but when you play it, then it's really scary. The story is great as well

Not the best game in history lol, but it DEFINITELY manages to be very satisfying for a game with it's type of gameplay. The gameplay IS cheesy, but it's still very fun. Eternal Darkness is pretty high on the list of the best Gamecube games.

"Great graphics for its age." I agree with the rest you said, but this is just plain wrong. It was a N64 game that got ported to the Gamecube late in the development cycle and the graphics didn't improve much, so it looked bad even when it was first released.
