Was just confirming on product description and there's supposed to be 1 foil etched in each pack. They had to reimburse consumers during the VIP collector packs not matching description so they should give you something. That being said I have two outstanding request for print defects with WOTC support which they have not resolved yet and its been over a month...

You should reach out to WotC regarding the issue of missing edged foils. They will take care of this and work out some kind of solution. But yeah, mistakes like that in an expensive product like DM22 are not acceptable.

One pack I would have been “whatever” about. 7 out of 8 is pretty rough.

@@WildcatMTG Indeed! I‘m really sorry, honestly felt the pain watching this. Still big congrats for the 3k & thanks for creating awesome mtg content! I remember contacting wizards support because of a deckbuilders toolkit box with heavily damaged cards (damaged edges, fresh out of the packs etc.). Was a long process since i am from germany and i had to send the stuff to the US but they covered all costs and sent me a new box including a bonus pack as an excuse. Whatever negative opinion i have regarding WotC and Hasbro - their customer support was great. Still…this was years ago…

I feel so bad because of those etched slots. I would definitely say something to wizards and try get atleast 2 free packs of collector and ultimately you are promoting the product so for your stress free box. I hope you get some sort of refund

I had the same issue and had a box missing foil etched cards. WoTC did fight me on it at first. They wanted me to send in all the cards but I thought that was silly and not right because I hit other decent cards. I just sent in the extra lands I got in it's place. They kept dragging their feet so I threatened to take it to small claims court. It was fixed after that.

I don’t know if they’re still offering product support at this point but it’s definitely worth reaching out. Still some solid pulls but that definitely hurt.

That’s definitely possible but the double masters collector boxes were sub cases of 8 collector boxes. So they would have had to gone through six other boxes. The Eternal Masters box was something out of a horror movie though. 😂😂😂

Congrats on the channel growth, you absolutely deserve it!! I bet you'll get to 5K by the middle of next year! When my wife had an absolutely terrible LOTR SE box at Christmas, you opened one for her a few months later it and it went from the worst experience to the best possible one, with the added benefit of having you open the packs!! I say it's already time for you to open some more Eternal Masters and DM22!! But congrats on the definite hits you did get, it's just really soured by the fact that you were kind of cheated unfairly.

It's super weird that there actually was an etched foil in one of the packs My guess is that somebody put a container of cards into the wrong hopper during pack filling. The Food Chain mightve been the last etched before they had to reload the machine

I feel like the one box I opened looked like this but it was a long time ago, although may have been a battle box, know that I have that set of mythics from the set though :/ . That being said such great common and uncommons.

No lies detected. Mythics are Mythics, you’ll have good and bad boxes. But I also somehow managed to dodge nearly every valuable Rare! I’ll have to run it back with EMA soon. It feels close to impossible to do that poorly again. 😂
