Pokémon Eternal X is an advanced difficulty catch-em-all romhack of Pokémon X created by Buffel Saft
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Pokémon I find on each Route.
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
Extra Rules:
7. No Set-Up Moves
8. No Super Training

Look at the first vod of this series. IIrc you had to import mons in Ancient X in the calculator and then change it to Eternal X

You will have the opportunity to change Gligar's ability later on. There are capsules available, with which you can swap the ability.

Man, did I play a different patch or something? I got nothing but *garbage* encounters in 25 or so runs of Eternal X. My final run really only succeeded because I finally kept the few good guaranteed encounters alive - the three starters, Snorlax, Dragonite, and Lucario. Even then, I used Super Training to get good EVs and IIRC had to set up in all but one of the E4. (Whatever the difference, it's probably my fault: I also had issues with Drxx's playthrough since his encounter routing seemed impossible from my docs.)

Were you playing the rebalanced or Non rebalanced version? Flygon is doing Insanity mode + Rebalanced (rebalanced means Buffel made changes to pokemon stats types and abilities) also maybe u werent doing insanity?
