It’s strange how images of the post apocalyptic can be so relaxing and calming. Perhaps it’s an appeal to our carnal side that yearns for simpler times where there is certainty in total uncertainty.
@Denariusjay Жыл бұрын
its strange how monolithic structures bring calm to the human psyche, its like a connection to our past, when ancient civilizations built huge structures and Statues to the varying Gods, and the people of the village would come and gaze upon it and pray, to get inner peace. perhaps our ancestors were onto something building things like the pyramids

Fifteen hundred souls unaccounted for. Block 32 had been utterly abandoned by its tenants, all loyal citizens with almost universally spotless records. No warning had been given, no clues left- at some time just after nightfall, they had all seemingly vanished from their homes, leaving meals cooling on tables and televisions displaying official broadcasts into empty rooms. Where could they have gone? Outside was not an option; the elevator logs showed no activity, and military patrols had no contacts. It was as if they had simply stepped outside of reality. The decision was made to unperson every last disappeared citizen. The populace couldn't be allowed to know of this event, lest fear spread and dissent rise.

This is Project 12234 in District A32 on the outer edge of whats left of Old NYC. This is where all the downtrodden / low wage workers and criminals live. Most buildings are raised off the ground due to regular flooding on the costal regions. Most transport is done via sky rail and flying cars roads are mostly defunct.
@ZeHoSmusician10 ай бұрын
Those street lights are working well for an area prone to regular flooding... That or someone takes the time and trouble to fix them--well, until further notice, I suppose... :) The height at which those buildings are raised suggests some pretty serious flooding... Maybe the tide comes into play, too?

It's dark, yet not so much after already having lived threw darkness! This makes me think of people who have lived threw tough time's and somhow seem to keep thier home because they might have looked at this as a whole picture rather than living this as a scean! The picture speaks of a mind than does not lack brain power and a community that lives to see better days! Have you ever lived threw grey sky's? Stayed where you have resided for well over 15 years and noticed the light, the sky and life around you has changed? That happens from from the mind not accepting anything less than perfection and veiwing the environment around within a change of value from before or a seperate sight process!

Great dark ambient music, really sets the mood for the visuals, I love dark ambient and drone music so it’s very easy for me to enjoy this music, i understand the language of this music it’s dreamy, it transports the listener to other worlds, in my opinion, much more peaceful than the one we are living in. Thanks for sharing 🖤

After The Desolation, massive walled cities were formed, leaving the countryside to whatever lurks there. The sane and average Human lives in those cities, keeping any resemblance of the old world. But the foolhardy live in buildings resembling old world apartments. The residential parts are raised, but the rest is well protected with enough defenses to defend against a small militia.

Like the aesthetic and the vibe from the soundscape. Just can't stop my brain from over-analyzing. What is the nature of the apocalypse being depicted in the imagery? The architecture of the building is certainly interesting, but I've seen buildings like this where I live. In fact, the main body of the building I'm comparing it to floats over its parking lot, suspended only by a few columns and what I assume to be a centrally located elevator shaft. I've often considered pulling in just to figure out where the stairs are. Anyways, back to background image: the smattering of lights on the building suggest current use, and more importantly the availability of electricity, meaning for whatever souls present, there is at least a tomorrow.

Reflection is key. Frequencies reveal wisdom. Resonance offers clarity. But what lies beyond the combination of all three is unable to be defined by any word in any language of humanity's creation. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨ "Before I start, I must see my end. Destination known, my mind's journey now begins. Upon my chariot, heart and soul's fate revealed. In Time, all points converge; hope's strength, resteeled.
