Emergence occurs in a single universe whenever there is more than enough life energy from the population of that planet to give birth to a celestial ... But as being said , the planet is judged by aarisham if it is worthed , he will let the planet exist ... Thanos's ultimate reason for random genocide wasn't the emergence but it was lack of resources will lead to extinction of life and also during his conquest on gamoras planet he tells gamora ... universe needs to have balance ... also during fight with doctor strange thanos tells ... titan was full of resources and due to overpopulation and limited resources planet started becoming extinct and planet was destroyed.... So conclusively , thanos didn't even know about celestials as far as marvel cinematic universe is concerned .... he just wanted a balanced universe .... Then later on in endgame ,why 2014 thanos said he will wipe out every single element of the universe and will create a new universe which will be perfectly balanced and the population there will treat only thanos as their god ... Yes but unknowingly thanos contributed in stopping emergence but he did not do that for stopping emergence ... Because if that would have been his aim ... he would have destroyed each and every living energy(whole universe) with help of infinity stones not just wipe out half life ... And if he was on the verge of doing so , eternals especially icarus would literally have burst him into pieces ... because we know icarus was opposing stopping of emergence unless sersi stopped the emergence by uni mind without destroying life energy means without genocide ....

When Gamora in Infinity War said that he doesn't understand. Thanos replied "only I understand", with the same frustrated face, which we make when we are correct but can't explain how. In that scene Gamora said that she hated the throne, and then Thanos sat on stairs instead. Showing that he is not just a monster. 3. Maybe he has the Eternal mental issue like Thena, where he knows for sure that population MUST NOT GROW, he knows this, but don't understand this. 4. Less likely: He is disguising the mission, because if he reveals the cause of his actions, then maybe Celestials fells it a direct challenge, but now, its just personal affairs of mortals. Let's consider if he is a deviant and when he arrived on earth and made all the chaos, Eternals should have come to rescue right? or if he is also Eternal then Ajak should have noticed that one of their kind is making chaos. I watched the movie , I would say that the movie was alright . It was a 7/10 type of movie, less but good action , cgi was good , drama was appreciable . The only problem was they was trying to introduce 10 character in a single movie and trying to introduce new villians , new species like celestial , arisham , deviants , eternals all in just one movie which was a bad choice. Over all movie was enough good to watch ,not a boring one . And it is a important movie for the future of mcu timeline .
