Orthodox live daily, not just Lent, in a mindset called Brightsadness where we live in the reality of our unworthiness through great Hope in Christ. This is our Joyful Sadness

Thank you for this, I find this very helpful to hear! Can you point me to more about this?

You can also search internet “Bright Sadness”. P.S. Sophiology in Orthodoxy has always been treated as heresy.

@@climbingmt.sophia No problem if you are not Orthodox, but Orthodoxy tends to treat Sophiology as a heresy.

Great synergism between the two of you and beautiful expression of some very meaty thought-forms. I'm glad that you took the conversation to it's pinnacle (the pinnacle of pinnacles) at the end and I was very encouraged by the strength of Jordan's characterizations on the Lord's atoning work. To part the waters for us, he first went headlong into the greatest of all tempests and suffered at it's hands.

1:36 TIME. Hecks yes! How we think of and experience time is huge. I would recommend the book Laurus. And…maybe Godric. Time is a big holdup in many’s thinking of spiritual things, imo.

10:41 I just read that McLuhan quote in a livesteam. Edit: that it’s only in Christ that the meaning and message are one. FYI: kzbin.infokcI7QjwNko0?si=IfEOvbvHciH6JsF4
