I first saw this video 6 years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. It touched me so much that I wanted to learn this song originally to play it for a girl I was crushing on so she would feel what I felt when I heard this. It never worked out, and this was too difficult for me to play. However, I started to learn this song little by little, year after year. I can happily say that I have finally learned this piece (recite from memory) and it is now the song that I use to show people that I can play piano. This song now defines who I am. A person who has been through a lot and yet still finds a way to find beauty in everything. Each part of this song is the story of a beginning and an end. As one part ends, another begins, but each new part is more beautiful than the last. Now that I am a senior in college about to graduate, the current part is experiencing a crescendo. As the final part of this piece finishes, and as the final part of my college career ends, I leave with the same feeling that this song gives me: Content, bliss, and overwhelming joy for the future.

Wow. This was 2 years ago. I had an incredible journey on KZbin. I got to cross paths with Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and even got on PewDiePie's channel once. Now I'm at Cornell for graduate school. Although being quite the opposite being easily satisfied and willing to give people the benefit of the doubt for mistakes... the emotion that you put into your compositions is incredible. Then combine that when you blend them into medleys, it feels like the dream never stops. I only recently subscribed to your youtube channel and saw one of your latest live streams, but I'm going through all your videos and pages now and I'm literally reliving my childhood. I remember checking fansites (ones that quickly live on the hype then die later) daily for news on this game 12 years ago with real emotion, 1000 words by koda kumi and eternity on it's jp page. Of course only to be first disappointed and then okay with the fact they found jade for the english release. Got the game preordered and then spent countless early mornings and afterschool days to complete a blind run and then 2 complete runs for both sides of the story that branch. Thank you, Kyle.

My dad got me into music when I was younger. He was a musician all his life from guitar to drums and piano to singing. I got heavily into the piano about 12 years ago and was eventually able to learn this song. My dad was so proud of me for being able to play this piece. He passed away a year ago now and I can’t help but break down crying right now. I miss my dad so much and I can still feel him standing behind me smiling as I play this beautiful music as if it is happening right now. Thank you for always telling me how proud you were of me and for making me feel like I had a special talent. I love you dad and I look forward to being reunited with you again. 😢

When I was 16, the girlfriend I had played piano, and she struggled for hours on end trying to learn how to play this song. She was very experienced, but it was difficult for some reason. Of course, we've long since broken up (unfortunate...), but I'm glad you have videos like this and others for viewing at any time of the time, week, month- whenever you please. Actually, this is Kyle's interpretation of the song and so really is still his music, should someone wish to call it as such.
