I'm nearing 40 and this is still my favourite piece of music. The way it builds up from a light pattering of raindrops on a tin roof into a wave and then just starts rolling into itself at 4:08 is beautiful. Fits the water/tide theme of FFX perfectly. I'm not sure that any other instrument could do this piece justice.

I don't know who this aphmauis but I'm glad she brought traffic to ffx2 music. Ffx2 is considered to be one of the worst ff games, but the music is one of the best. If you like this one give the rest a try. Start with "yuna's ballad."
