I do, I was raised in a Pentecostal church, which was the assemblies of god, and we were always going back-and-forth in the scriptures from the Old Testament to the new.

We were always baptized whether you became a Christian as an adult and after I knew, Christian understood the Bible more progressed to being filled with the Holy Spirit. I was was raised in a time when the children sit in the main auditorium I didn’t have the special places to go where they heard the preacher preach of judgment. After the Lord takes the church out that I accepted Christ at nine years old I wasn’t perfect, but I did receive the Holy Spirit when I was in my teens. And now I am almost 75 and I still have to get down on my knees because I’m still in a human body. I do lose my temper and impatient with people around me.

Currently I am studying Hebrew . The reason is I want to read Bible in it's original language. I will learn Koine Greek and Aramaic also if God wills. I really want to know the TRUTH, which is NOT "whitewashed".

I am glad that I was raised duing the 1960s in a baptist community in Puerto Rico Back then, Sunday school was mainly teachings from the Old Testament. My example in prayer was particularly king David and Joseph. By third grade we had to memorized the name and order of the first five books of the Bible, as well as memorize psalm 23 and 121. Jesus (as far as I remember) was only mentioned at the end of the class, during a prayer for the sick. All of that changed in the evangelical world by the end of the 60s with the boom of the "Jesus Freaks movement". By the early 70s, there was less and less mention of the old testament, and more and more focus in the "name of Jesus" (which is just a nickname, as "Jesus" was not the hebrew name, nor greek or Aramean.) In that sense I am inclined to agree with Judaism when they do not pronounce the name of God in order to avoid falling into the idolatry of the name itself, which is even more obscure in Christianity because the name in question is rather a nick name and not the real name of Jesus.

Jesus is the name of the Lord God of Israel who became salvation (Yeshua) unto the ends of the earth. Thus, Jesus is written all over the Old Testament.
