My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimization;changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. While dividends can provide immediate income, the true power lies in the compounding effect over many years. But in general, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

I think a good investment portfolio should have three basic things: ETFs for diversification, dividend stocks for cash flow, and leading tech stocks. With your budget, it's a good idea to talk to a fiduciary financial advisor for expert advice.

True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diversify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

I'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisors online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?

Wow, I had thought of this difference. But to what extent is the difference in price? I think it will often be way less than 0.5% and there is no concern.

Very useful info.. but futile for Zerodha users. Very tough in Zerodha to get nav of an etf listed in your watchlist. Zerodha walon.. kuch kro yaar.. Please make it easy to get iNAVs on watchlist. Have some easy nomenclature. On one hand even a brand name can be enough to find a stock.. on other hand finding etf nav on kite is sooo tough.

Hi Team, a quick question.... as per video ... NAV is the closing price of the underlying assets ... so this should be constant throughout the day ..... but it also fluctuates during the trading hours .... eg NIFTYBEES price (NAV) fluctuates throughout the day ... why ?? am I missing something ???

How we can buy ETF directly from AMC instead of on exchange? or other words wants to invest in ETF means increase the corpus of AMC instead of transferring from another unit holder.

Hi, is this inav useful for only etf investing or is it useful for etf traders also?
@varsitybyzerodha20 күн бұрын
iNAV is more relevant for ETF investors as it helps assess whether the market price is close to the fair value of the ETF. For traders, short-term price movements and liquidity matter more than iNAV, so it’s not as useful for them.

I don't think this is useful. One should choose an ETF when it has corrected and there's a good chance for it to bounce back rather than looking at iNAV. If you buy it a little expensive, there's a chance at the time of selling it may be expensive too.
