Investing in mutual funds offers a structured and diversified approach to building wealth, managed by professional fund managers. While there are costs and some limitations, the benefits of diversification, professional management, and ease of access make mutual funds a popular choice for achieving a variety of financial goals.

Exactly, I used to doubt the value of a financial advisor until my wife's company assigned her an investment adviser in 2020. Honestly, it’s been the best financial decision I’ve made. It helped tremendously; I went from barely making any profit to having a well-diversified portfolio that has grown significantly, with gains exceeding $350k.

I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some investors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat

I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

@@ashishtiwaripundit I mean my perspective to buy a physical gold is merely to have 24 carets in hand all the time. Day to day gold prices are also increasing. Simple and informative video! It would be great if you could create one on direct bond investments vs. bond mutual funds, as there’s limited content on this topic. With platforms like Wint and GoldenPI making bond investments with 10%+ returns accessible, expectations from bonds are rising to match those of equities. A video on this would be valuable since most discussions currently focus only on equity funds or direct equity investments. Thanks!

Even for a beginner pls do not suggest bond funds as there many pitfalls as stated below: 1) Fees: Bond funds charge management fees and other expenses that can eat into your returns. 2) No Maturity Date: While individual bonds have a fixed maturity date, bond funds do not, which can lead to more interest rate risk over time. 3) Price Fluctuations: The value of bond funds can fluctuate daily based on market conditions, while individual bonds can be held to maturity for a known return.

Also debt funds are for shorter duration rite. If suppose if i invest in short duration debt fund and later change plans of not to withdraw still can i hold that debt fund as long as i can for 10yrs too? The main difference between flexi-cap and multi-cap funds is how they allocate their investments across market caps. Flexi-cap funds offer fund managers the flexibility to choose stocks across all market capitalisation, without any restrictions. On the other hand, multi-cap funds are required to maintain a balanced allocation, investing a minimum of 25% each in large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks.
