Welcome to part 5 of our ETF investing mini-series: a 5-part podcast series, aimed at building your confidence when it comes to researching, comparing and building an ETF portfolio.
After listening to parts 3 & 4 of our ETF investing mini-series, you might have an ETF in mind that you’re ready to buy.
But hold on a sec…you can’t just buy this ETF at the supermarket.
In this ETF episode we break down how to actually buy an ETF in Australia (hint: you’ll need a brokerage account), ongoing ETF investment strategies, and how to manage you ETF on an ongoing basis (and keep it alive, unlike your tamagotchi).
Be sure to download our ETF Investing Checklist (Google Doc) that we’ve created to accompany this podcast series: [bit.ly/etfchecklist](bit.ly/etfchecklist)

as someone who has trusted an advisor with my SMSF, I now have total control and managing my own. ETF's offer more safety, to a point, are somewhat boring to big investors, but offer to me a sense of security knowing I can on my platform buy and sell according to market changes. But, 3-5 year is optimal, and as a newbie, I am now at 6 months, so, lets see what happens. Good infor, thanks

Hi Great content, I was just curious is the long term returns just basically from dividend re investing and hoping the share price goes up. As I have noticed a lot of the ETF’s don’t fluctuate even during down turns and bull markets Thanks
