You can not blame Theresa , when it was Ethan that had fallen in love with Theresa. Gwen should have took the high road. But instead went the low road. Ethan had fallen for Theresa hard. And he could not get over her . Thus the true ❤️ love. Gwen would eventually lose out in the end anyway. True ❤️ love always wins, no matter what.

Gwen should have never married him. I know she loved him but in part it was just a competition to her. She wanted to win. Gwen had all these evil people in her ear, cheering her on and putting the ideas in her head! To me it was all Rebecca. Theresa is not saint, but she never made a pass at Ethan. He fell in love with her all on his own. The only thing she did in the beginning was place herself around him.

Back then when Gwen was actually likable.....but it's always been ET for me especially classic ET. Props to Liza...that was great acting. This is classic tv....the more Theresa talked....the worse it was for Ethan. Very entertaining!

@Dansea08 I agree 100%! Classic ET makes me squeal! the new ET was hot, but it lacked the passion that the first Ethan and Theresa had. Their kisses were incredible and Ethan seemed like he really wanted her back then and was ready to leave Gwen.

They tried to write Theresa as innocent and likeable. I had a love hate relationship with Theresa. Sometimes I was on Gwen’s side, sometimes I wasn’t. It depends on how annoyed I am with Theresa.

Because Theresa was written as the protagonist, the heroine of the show. Later they kept letting Gwen win, for like 8 years. In that time Gwen became very hateful and unlikeable, but Theresa was always the heroine that everyone rooted for.
