No Gwen lied about the tape. Their was no split screen. They are still.wearing the clothes that was on the video. Little Ethan fixed it. Theresa was not around when that tape was being made. It was Sam's camera 📸, And he had video taped Kay and Miguel's wedding. It was still recording, when Gwen and Rebecca were in the rectory. That was them . If you watched what had happened in the basement of the church, they wanted Juanita to kill Theresa. Rebecca wanted Theresa dead. That is how evil Gwen and Rebecca are. They had framed Theresa for over 10 years. Gwen's is not innocent, and neither is her crazy evil mother. Gwen did not even want her own son to live. Gwen was an unfit mother to begin with. Took little Ethan and Jane away from Theresa. That was so wrong . Little Ethan had evey right to hate Gwen, cause of what she had done to Theresa his mother. Gwen had no scruples along with her mother. Theresa had nothing to do with the video tape. There was no tampering with that tape. It was real and not fake , like Gwen and Rebecca.

Gwen only wanted Ethan for the Crane money and jewels (she admitted as much when Ethan's paternity was revealed).

See, Ethan Theresa was right about Gwen, especially about the whole tabloid patenity thing. Theresa told you over and over and over again that Gwen and Rebecca were the ones who did it and framed her for it. And not only that, you also find out that Gwen was willing hers and your baby die and willing to have Theresa and her entire family all killed just so she can be happy with you. I'm just glad that Ethan actually wanted to stay and see the tape and hear Gwen and Rebecca say right out of their own mouths all the horrible things they did.

Man, the wardrobe department must have hated liza. The writers did Liza's character dirty. I liked when liza left for maternity leave and how gwen finally realized that Ethan never loved her, but when liza came back she got a horrible storyline which was wanting theresa and her whole family dead. As the confession goes on, you can see both Sheridan and Ivy fuming, trying to come to grip with how deceitful Gwen as been over the years. I could almost feel Ivy's itch to strangle Rebecca when the camera panned to them twice. And Sheridan looked about ready to kill around the time the USB stick is mentioned. Luis shaking his head in disbelief is just... chef's kiss.

Rebecca and Gwen framed Theresa for the exposing of Ethan's true pternity in 2001...so by the time the show ended in 2008, that would be 7 to almost 8 years. If you watched the whole episode, Gwen literally lied her way to the altar as well because she was already married. At this point, I'm not even sure I believe Sara was Ethan's, simply because it's highly possible Gwen got pregnant by her real husband. After all, she turned up conveniently pregnant by the time Ethan was ready to propose to Theresa again. Granted, we had no idea Gwen was already married at the time (that's something that as revealed in this episode - the finale). And it was never addressed because well, the show had ended. But in my mind, it would not have surprised me Sara was not Ethan's.

I hate Gwen and I'm so glad she finally got what she deserved but I think the writers took it too far. Gwen was a bitch and did some really rotten things but I don't think she would have been okay with Juanita's plan. And I don't think she would have been so heartless to say send me funeral announcements like it was no big deal. The writers clearly wanted to destroy her character. Her and Rebecca are the only ones that didn't get some sort of redemption.

I will agree that the funeral notice line was weird...because Sheridan and Marty would have both ALSO been killed...but hey, at this point, Gwen seemed to be willing to sacrifice everything and everyone just to be with Ethan.
