I like buying knife sets which I have a few, my new set I bought the BK- 4, 5,14,&15, I think the 1095 CroVan is a great steel, and I liked the 0170-6C, and the C.S. CarbonV, I know this from experience and used those steels in some of my knives, good stuff your video's are.

I like the 'Machate' design Idea you have, very cool. Have you thought about maybe making two version? One with saw teeth along the top edge, but leaving 3 inches of flat blade closer to the handle for detailed work as you mention..... Blessings and Cheers.

No choils- thank you, Ethan! It looks like the hamburgler stole a bite outta my ESEE 6- i want the first inch of edge back! My BK-2 is 25% heavier, but much better at detail work, b/c the edge starts early= more leverage.

has the mid sized knife come out yet? I looked on the website and didn't really see anything that looked similar. I already have a customized BK2 (forced patina + tiger stripes) but wanted a mid-sized knife, or possibly small, for more fine bushcraft type work. I was planning on probably getting the BK11 but at the same time I kind of want something a bit bigger than the BK11 and that knife seems to fit the bill.

Definitely not designed for a guy with big hands. For me, it would have to be at least between 5cm's to a third of the length longer. But if it's as good as he says, I'd consider buying one.
