Ethan Hawke: Cristian Mungiu & Philip Seymour Hoffman story

Ethan nails it. It’s understandable that there will always be a financial incentive for a film to be shown, but it should never the primary motivation. Cristian is an auteur, and I look forward to seeing more of his work. Bacalaureat was fantastic, and I’m watching Beyond the Hills tonight. Can’t wait for Criterion to release 4 Months in January. I’ll be all over that!
