They didn't accurately call them out though. They took one part of the conversation and reacted to , neglecting relevant parts of the conversation. That's why Ethan wants folks to see the entire debate. The premise of this dress code is that as a male he should have full say in the relationship and the woman has none and should not be argumentative. His opinion is the only one that matters in the relationship. That changes the context of him telling her how to dress.

His problem is looking at everything as a harmful redpill boogeyman angle , even if something is a completely normal sentiment and not redpill at all. He thinks he's fighting some fresh and fit type ideals and needs to channel his inner woke to call other insecure. This is the issue with people like H3 and hasan. They "think" they're fighting something that "SEEMS" like redpill/right wing and feel obligated to fight it tooth and nail without knowing anything about the subject.

I’d love to ask Ethan where it ends? Am I insecure if I don’t want my wife to sleep with other men? At what point am I no longer being insecure anymore? Yeah, I don't know what to call it exactly, but it's like using the connotation of a word as a prepackaged argument and conversational mic drop. If we think about it, Ethan and his wife saying that not wanting to be with someone that is provocative in public is controlling, then they are also necessarily saying that other person is entitled be provocative (which they are) and be in a relationship with you.

Aba and Preach knocked it out the park with this one. Ethan looked at the full range of preference and simply declared that anyone beneath his threshold is "wrong". But that thinking is flawed because, you could ask him would he be okay with his partner going to the store butt naked? No? Well a nudist would call him controlling because he wouldn't allow his partner to walk around naked. The nudist says he's insecure and controlling. Or would he allow his partner to fuck someone else right in front of him? No? Well, a polygamous person would say he's controlling. You wouldn't allow your partner to be sexually free? The polygamous couple says he's controlling and insecure. His logic is utterly flawed.

I’m a woman, in a relationship, and there’s a big difference between “pretty”, “provocative” and “sexy”. It’s subjective and if the other person you’re with is uncomfortable, you need to understand where they’re coming from, what’s disturbing them it the outfit and it’s not being controlling, it’s just proper communication in a relationship.
@hotpocket_42o

exactly and it may not be the clothes themselves on the body but what message others will recieve and the impression you are making to others when they see those things. not everyone will respect someone dressed like a stripper, or even a nun, and we cannot get mad at people for having their biases. we all have them, it’s the way in which you act upon those biases that matters.

not only this but a woman can wear anything else and still feel sexy. My Girl is busty, there is no way of getting around the fact her tits will be on show. But its the degree in which they are on show that i would have a problem with. Luckily she has some really elegant and sexy dresses that arnt too revealing. But Even she knows where the line is and if anything she holds the sexiest outfits for me if we go for a date or meal etc. I didnt mind her posts on social media before we got together as she was a model and single. But now she just posts modest phtoos. She has respect for our relationship, she knows she gets jealous with me around people so she knows that its right that she dosnt do anything to make me jealous as then we are hypocrites. Realtionships are bound with respect for one another. If she dosnt respect how you feel about dressing too provactively then you shouldnt respect how she wants you to dress either. For argument's sake, how do you know whether or not Sebastian's definition of "provocative" isn't wildly out of proportion with the commonly accepted definition either? Also, Sebastian isn't dating Ethan's wife, so your proper communication argument is instantly invalidated as it is a subjective judgement that can only be made and reinforced within the context of their relationship.

The weird part is that Ethan could look good if he made the effort, but he's for whatever reason always leaned into the role of the extremely unattractive weirdo nerd and it so obviously comes from insecurity. If Ethan started ti eat healthier, work out more, start wearing clothes that would compliment him and got a barber to help him out with his hair and beard, he would be an attractive guy. If he then worked on his personality too so that he is actually someone that a woman would want, then maybe shit would change for him. I don't understand why he's never attempted to look good. They are the direct descendants of the Trotskyite Jews of the 60s and 70s who participated in the destruction of morals and the family in the West. It's funny, but all these former left-wing Jews now represent 90% of the American neo-conservatives who have destroyed the Middle East. They only apply the subversive ideology of Frankism (Jacob Joseph Frank), accelerating the coming of the "Messiah" by increasing corruption and evil on earth. Israel Shahak and Gilad Atzmon are two honest Jews who speak well of this. Talmudic Judaism is a cancer for humanity, read Douglas Reed to understand it. Finally Kanye West was right ! I would be curious to see who the sponsors are behind these two insignificant people, we always find Zionist networks. I’ve noticed as a non native English speaker. English is my second language and when you learn another language you learn to respect and understand what words mean a lot more than a native speaker. Let’s say I use the word ignorant describe a person. Most native English speakers automatically assume that I am implying that the person is stupid, but when somebody is ignorant, it means they just lack the knowledge. It has nothing to do with the intelligence or the lack of it. For example, words like insecure or misogyny. These words invoke a certain reaction and people use that to their advantage. The best way to fight that is to ask them to define what the word means and you’ll notice they start beatboxing because they don’t actually know. The words lose their meaning because they’re trendy to use and shows the limited vocabulary of people who don’t use words accurately to describe accurate behaviors.

16:13 nails it for me, its an arbitrary line and it really doesn't make sense to judge others for their arbitrary line. the definition of "dressed like a hoe" or whatever doesn't matter, its just about boundaries anyone can set for their relationship and it is completely valid to enforce those boundaries by leaving the relationship or better communicating that your boundaries were violated. If a dude becomes heavily alcoholic a girl would not be controlling for telling him to stop or she'll leave him. Likewise she can still dress however she wants to, just gonna be single then in some cases.

I think it was the comments that raised the biggest concerns for me as they treated her as though she was property of the photographer "I love how you treat your bitches" was one of them. She also kept in contact with the guy the entirety of our 2-year relationship. My feelings had nothing to do with being insecure except the concern I had over her need to be validated and her continuing desire for that kind of attention. Long story short, we broke up and she got back with the photographer for another round of exposition. Nice strawman. Sebastian does post shirtless thirst traps of himself on his Instagram. He said it was "different" than what women do, so said girlfriend doesn't even really have the ability to voice whether or not she's okay with it because he took that away from her with his unchecked hypocrisy. Your argument is instantly invalidated because it's predicated on the notion that insecurity is 1) always swings both ways when most of the time it doesn't, and 2) is always justified when most of the time it isn't and often classic projection from past trauma that has nothing to do with current partner who becomes the victim and/or deflection off of their own bad habits and desires.

If they don't respect you enough to avoid those things and you choose not to spend time with them does that make you insecure? They are "your" friend, which you could pretend was all about ownership and control or you could be reasonable and say it's about mutual respect and interests and, dare I say, compromise. It doesn't automatically have anything to do with insecurity. It may, but it may not. We need to be careful about assigning motivation to other people. Which is ridiculous. Then when confronted with a different opinion, he can't even mentally accept that that's a possibility (much less that it's ok), so he resorts to shaming.

I love how Ethan pauses your video every 5 seconds so that he can spin a lie before you even complete a sentence. That's the only effort he puts forth into responding And his producers try to back him up with childish rebuttals its ridiculous

He did this during gokanaru’s video, it got the point he finished saying the sentence and Ethan goes “wtf is he talking about?” like he couldn’t just rewind to get full context

I personally don't see pausing every 5 seconds as bad, the person could be digesting every sentence, it's his intentions behind it and how he uses it that's bad, he's already made up his mind and he's using that time to create a "rebuttal" if I could even call it that.

It’s disrespectful for a woman to dress provocatively when in a relationship to purposely seek the male gaze. That’s it. It isn’t that complicated.

What do you think goes through Hila's mind when she posts pictures of her wearing revealing clothes? Do you think she is aware of what she is doing, or that she confusing empowerment with attention seeking?

I still don't see why she can't look attractive. Like of we go to a party and she wants to look pretty, there's nothing wrong with that. What if I feel better about myself because everybody sees I got a hot wife. What if I want to look handsome one day before we go out because I want to feel good about myself?
