Some people think that screaming is rude . For me, if you aren't screaming, the route isn't that hard.

Would have been one of the most amazing trad routes in the world. How many overhanging granite faces are there with lots of cracks for inserting nuts etc? But hey sport climbing is where it's at. Stunning location and Ethan Pringle is awesome.

Cool climb, homie really bolted the shit outta that thing yea?
@cameronmcintire80077 жыл бұрын
Looks like the entire top portion would even take natural pro.
@iancameron64577 жыл бұрын
That would be inspiring to see that go on gear... Mr. Pringle would you like to set the bar even higher? 😂

you guys should go do it on natural pro lol

Gonna chop those motherfucking bolts from the ground up that's obviously a trad route
@Sigmav02 жыл бұрын
Disgusting bolting job... wow !
@HandFedMole7 жыл бұрын
Yeah way too many bolts in this thing... It's bolted like a gym route. Near the top Ethan started placing draws every other bolt. Someone is going to go back and do the entire top on gear, and probably chop the unneccessary bolts... Even Sharma uses fewer bolts in Oliana, where there is zero natural pro.
@Sethgolas7 жыл бұрын
I assume that it was to give the caliber options since it hadn't been climbed before. There's no point in clipping because they are already there, and the beta could vary significantly for calibers of different height.
@dw4rfb4r0n7 жыл бұрын
Never understood why certain climbers have a problem with a route having 'too many bolts'. Just don't use it if it bothers you. And aesthatically or enviromentally it doens't really mather that much.
@andyelliott36 жыл бұрын
thank you for your opinion lord of bolts!
@mexicanprizefighter6 жыл бұрын
do you bolt sport climbs HandFedMole? and if so, have you ever bolted a line this steep that was possibly beyond your own climbing capabilities?
@matthewcolemere48246 жыл бұрын
Sharma repeated this climb using every bolt... not skipping bolts like Ethan does here. Just saying.
@harrisonrocks63886 жыл бұрын
impressive but it looks like it needs a real, proper trad ascent. Granite, crack line and bolted? not even sparsely bolted? where is the ethics? was half expecting him to lower off instead of topping out but this is looks like a fantastic, amazing line that needs a Britt to trad it

Bolts every 1,5 - 2 m !! That is much to much for a route that overhangs only a little bit. 3-4 m woul be o.k. In the routes up to 5.10 there are only every 4-10 m bolts, even if when falling you would fall on a plateau. And what do the guys who open such routes tell us: .. if you can´t tolerate the stress leave it!!! Now, the same principle should be applied to 9a too.
@lalibertenordsud5 жыл бұрын
How many 5.14s have you opened again?
