@USER_97133 I'll try putting this way and maybe my comment won't be removed: I am addicted to the painkillers I take for a spinal injury, so yes I'm a functional addict who lives a normal life, I do some Paralympic sports and practice fencing and HEMA nearly every day I average a 3 hours work out daily (I have to or else it makes my condition worse) and you'd never know I had an addiction unless I told you. 👍

As a former pill cowboy I just have to say Xanax is prescribed way too often and freely. I had a DR. writing me 120 roxy 30s and 120 1mg Xannies and I am sure the result can deduced. It is too strong even by itself and I always ended up blacked out for days on end. Valium is more appropriate for societal anxiety or maybe even Ativan, Xanax caused more trouble with life, the wife, and everything in general...but i truly was a dangerous maniac back then and i am surprised I made it out alive....
