Ethan is by far my favorite Brawlhalla player so far. His implementation of the piviot nair to read is simply phenomenal. Also, he approaches a lot instead of waiting his opponent out. His gameplay in general is very entertaining and refreshing.

Ghiath no, it’s a compliment to Ethan. He plays so well with his movement, he reads his opponent better than high plays and plays stronger than them because of his movement and approaches. But I can do the same combos he’s doing, and I know a lot of friends in the same high play to diamond range that I’m in that can do the same things. That’s all

Hey, can anyone help? I am rather new to this game (relatively) and I was wondering how I enter a tournament. Preferably for beginners, but I'll try to get as far as I can in another kind of competition. I tried the reddit, but I couldn't figure it out.

I doubt there's a beginners tournaments only pros normally sign up for these things. So don't bother and just practice getting better.

You can try registering for one of the weekend tournaments but you'll get destroyed, only diamonds and plats have the skill to play competitively, I doubt it's possible for a new player to play in one.

there are seasonal championships, the next one being the winter championship. A lot of people get disqualified for not showing up so be ready to play. Like 80% of the entrants are golds so it's not that bad - only like 100 good people enter each tournament anyway

There's the esports panel in the main menu, just look for it. It shows you various tournaments that are going to happen. Also, search this channel for the smashgg video that shows you how to enter and play in tournaments. Besides that, don't worry about whether a tourney is for beginners or not. You can learn at any tournament

I would suggest Brawl League Academy. They have a discord for gold and under players and host tourneys for them as well. Great place to start.

Honestly, any pro players opinion that x weapon can't be played at a top level is wrong. Why? Because fundamentals carry you further than anything else. Also, no weapon in this game is fully developed. People forget that competitive BH is extremely young compared to other fighting games. There's a lot of stuff that isn't utilized or known.

it’s interesting, he started out mainly playing scythe but switched to spear. i really enjoy ethans scythe, and i wished he played it more. there was hope for it for awhile because he was entering community tournaments with mirage, but he got some reason just didn’t play her in majors once the next one came up.

Goku Black Maybe......? But, most pros think that mirage is better than mordex. The problem with mordex is the fact that it is quite hard to confirm a kill with him unless you manage to land a sig. Well, it may have been a better pick for Ethan considering how good his scythe and gauntlets are.
