Leading into UFC 152 Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones faced criticism from the promotion and MMA fans for his handling of the cancelation of UFC 151 and other personal issues. Jones would fight former champion Vitor Belfort in a short-notice bout that was nearly an upset. Belfort would attempt an armbar in the first round that Jones escaped, but would later admit that he was almost sure that he would get submitted and lose his title. Wasn’t the same submission. Vitor was twice his age, off TRT, and in a different weight class. He had every advantage, nobody expected a different outcome. Basically the equivalent of if a clean jones were to fight a roided up Francis at heavyweight today.

Jones cheated on the gus fight. 1 loss. Pedded In 2 Cormier fights (3 losses) Should've been stripped against Anthony. 4th loss. Beat by antos. 5th loss Definitely got beat by reyez. 6th loss. What he said is that antos would have to take him out to be considered champ. Same with reyez. (only way to beat the champ is to finish him typa stuff). Though the santos fight was close and I'm not mad about it, I did give a slight edge to santos if I remember correctly and so did Jones.
