For weight/fitness, I think a helpful way to think about it is: 'no one chooses to be fat(barring some weird fetish stuff), but they can choose to not be fat/be a healthy weight(barring medical conditions)'. Like people def have some genetic predispositions and dont choose how they are raised in regards to diet/exercise. So people kinda have a default level of weight/fitness if they aren't trying to address it, for some this is already pretty good and for some this is pretty bad AND if they have the will and a bit of knowledge and some minimal resources and time, they probably can get into decent shape. Personally, idk what it was exactly, but in my early teens I became pretty fat and out of shape, it might have been a bit of genetics, and was def also affected by some mental health issues and family lifestyle stuff, I didn't choose it, it just kinda happened overtime, and at first it didn't bother me, but eventually, my knees hurting and my appearance and etc, started to bother me and I started doing some minimal exercise and eating better and then overtime kept increasing that and learning more and pretty quickly became decently healthy and fit, still struggle sometimes with it, but if I focus on it I can always get it back in line.

On the art take, steel man of Ethan's take(I haven't seen the video so just extrapolating): people criticize modern art as being simple/childlike/not realistic, abstract and meaningless, generic and often just calling on a particular political or moral system, and heavily influenced with the artist's backstory to give it value. However, not to say that older classical art is bad, classical art has all the same features(modern art is actually not something that just came from nowhere): 1. Classical art often has a poor understanding of realistic perspective, geometry and anatomy, this even results in pieces that are almost cubist in nature where you see a physical object from multiple angles at once, it's childlike in that it often is simple and almost like a doodle. This is especially true of art prior to the Renaissance but persists throughout. Ethan points out the poor representation of hair, but also famously babies and children are not proportioned correctly + I like a really old painting of book that fundamentally messes up the perspective shapes + medieval portrayals of battles are little more than children's doodles. 2. Classical art is often generic in that the most common scenes are biblical scenes repeated over and over, which often have little value outside the moral/religious system of Christianity. Think about like any classical art, it's always Jesus or Mary or etc. 3. Often scenes in classical art are abstract, the placement and sense of space the figures are in is a literal abstraction, think of Bosch and the Venus de milo arising from a clam. 4. Classical art is often hugely influenced by the creator and their story, even half finished and mid works by Raphael, da Vinci, and others would be considered hugely valuable and beautiful inherently even when in reality the specific piece isn't even done or particularly good, but the story of the artist working gives it value. The idea that all art is political is def not true or not practically true(in some abstract sense everything can be classified as being political even if it's not intentional or really meaningful to say, a viewer of art may read political meaning into it at anytime). But all this is to say, I think most conceptual art is bullshit that relies exclusively on artist statements to justify it BUT this is true in a different way of many pieces of classical art(would the mona lisa really be considered so fucking great if you didn't know the cultural story that it is? It's not actually some amazing revolutionary painting, it's just a decent portrait of an unknown person, in line with many portraits of the time). So the dumb(and truly conservative coded) complaint that modern art is 'just a bunch of blobs a kid could do' is annoying, just like someone who would look at a medieval painting and say omg I can't believe they couldn't get the perspective angles right, it looks like a child's doodle.

Xanax it's possible because if you go cold turkey you could get a sezuire, but even then you have to be a heavy xanax user. this is literally just a miss informed take based off of one thing and that is alcohol.
