Even though I only make music as a hobby, this was a no brainer purchase for me. Bought this on Black Friday. Didn’t have a solo vocal library before and I love music like Gladiator and Assassins creed too much to not have one. Funny enough the main singer Clara Sorace did vocals for one of the more recent Assassins Creed games

I Agree. I have also worked with Clara Sorace in live remote recording for some projects where I needed something that a library couldn't provide. She is an extraordinary singer and professional. This library is a godsend for me, as I create music for video games, TV, and beyond. In addition to Clara, there are now other fantastic singers, each with their own vocal character. A must-have for all media composers, whether professionals or not. I love also Prometheus for Male Vocals.

Hey Kevin, this is a really nice library but do you think these voices are very identifiable after using it a few times? They are so characteristic that I feel they'll become recognisable 😅

I don't understand the concern about being identifiable. What's the issue with that? For instance, if I create a piece and invite Lisa Gerrard to sing, it's identifiable, but what's the problem? Or if I ask Hans Zimmer to compose the soundtrack for a film, it's identifiable. Where's the issue? These aren't loops that are always the same. I can create all the music I want with this library, and it will always be different from what you create. The vocal phrases are so many, and with different voices. If you know how to use them well, you can create a lot , a lot of work before exhausting the possibilities that are quite infinite, not to mention the true legato.

I've been using the Ethera series for a long time, and no film or video game director I've worked with has ever said, "Hey, did you use Ethera?" I don't understand where the problem is. I work with many professional singers, Doesn't the same thing happen? I've even worked with Clara Sorace in person for a video game and also Lara Ausensi, , and where is the issue? In fact, for me, it's always an added value. Being able to have these voices always available in a library for my projects, whether it's a demo or a finished work, is really cool.

Real singers are different. They have live variations and will sound different, even between takes... Whereas samples can start sounding recognisable in a different way. Especially when it's a solo vocal since solo vocals will generally stand out in a piece. It's an issue that's plagued a lot of libraries and I'm not the first or the last one to bring it up. Daniel James has made similar comments about Merethe Solvedt vocals in Jaeger too. Another option example is loops section in Damage. By now everyone can recognize them. It's not so much of a problem, but it's more about being unique and standing out. This isn't a problem with libraries that blend in, but they can be a problem with solo vocals like this that are so full of character. It's not a critique on the library at all. I in fact have a lot of Ethera libraries and will pick this up gladly, but I was just thinking out loud and opening the floor for discussion.

In my experience, these are often overestimated problems. Yes, with a live singer, it's different, just like having a live orchestra or choir is different. However, this difference lies mainly in the number of nuances it covers and the complexity of the performance. The quality and variety of sampling in the Ethera Gold series honestly have no equals on the market, especially concerning Solo Vocals. In Atlantis 3, there's such a variety of different colors that I hesitate to say it's comparable to working with a "real" singer, but it certainly offers great flexibility. In this case, Clara Sorace has so many vocal colors and nuances that Merethe Solvedt (whom I also appreciate) doesn't have. And hey, here we have SIX singers, a lot. I'm using the Heroic true legato for an epic piece, but then I can switch to the softer tone of Atlantis Legato, and I also have the Elven Legato. In short, there's a lot of variety in styles and voices. My focus is on creating good music; the rest is just talk. As you mentioned, this "issue" seems to occur with all libraries. It happens with Performance Samples, it happens with Spitfire, and it happens with all successful libraries that have a nice "character." Where is the problem? The end user, client, director, or the general public listening to the final music doesn't experience it. We, who are passionate and use these tools every day, might notice it. These are work tools, and in that case, what matters is making the customer or ourselves happy. If it's not work but just a hobby, well, what matters is making good music. The rest, as mentioned, is just talk. Cheers

Dunno there are literally thousands of vocal phrases (several thousands if I'm not mistaken). Together with the legato, I can't imagine that there is repetition between two projects with the same library singer.

This Library Sound So real But what I don't Like is the Latency of it .. I did All adjustments but No hope it still don't play when I touch the key... I tested it at my Friend's Studio and That was the Only Problem I hope this Version Make a solution for that problem

Latency is normal and necessary for sample libraries with legato (connection between notes). You will see this in strings, brass, woodwinds libraries... and also Atlantis 3. You'll need to set your DAW's negative track delay to the value that's displayed on the patch, then it'll be on time for the playback. For Live playing, you'll need to compensate it by playing a bit "in advance", which is a typical characteristic of legato sample libraries.

@@KevinKuschel I tested another Libraries Similar to this one but there is No Latency this Library is not easy to sync it to daw it only work with Slow Free Music not with Drums and Quantize . I hope they See this Problem And Solve it .

I have all but 3, but find them a bit cliche and immediately recognise them when I hear them in people's tracks. I think their popularity has meant they have become a bit overused and because they are so distinctive they are really noticeable. Great video and overview as always though

6 singers? Are they recognizable? Did you understand that there are 6 different singers here? Then, in my opinion, one also needs to learn how to use things. Moreover, I consider the voice as an added value, not something to worry about, honestly. This an incredbile content.

The issue lies with those who use them, not the libraries. Every library can be identified. It just takes knowing how to use them. And I repeat, for me, it's not a big problem. If I hear a beautiful piece and recognize a used library, if it's used well, it's not an issue for me as a listener. I identify Performance Samples' Oceania every time, and it doesn't bother me.@@ZoolsEpicMusic

First of all, Perhaps you haven't understood the genre of those voices, Have you ever heard of Eivor? when she sings in screamy nordic style? You should inform yourself beforehand. Then. this is a Major Upgrade, and this video covers only the new content from Atlantis 2 ( that is included ). Check the official video. There are a LOT of vocal styles in this library. From romantic, to epic, from angelic, to screamy! Atlantis 3 is probabily the most complete vocal library on the Market.

Yeah the Heroic legato and the valkyrie phrases are the most "in-your-face" patches, both sung by Clara Sorace. Try the Elven legato or Fantasy legato for softer voices.

Give a listen to Eivor in The Last Kingdom, and perhaps you'll understand. Clara Sorace, in phrases like Valkyrie and in the true legato of Valhalla, sings in that style and does it magnificently, but there are many other softer tones both from her and the other singers.

The problem is that the Best Service engine is so outdated that it is practically unusable. I bought Dark Era only to not be able to use it because the BS engine (a fitting abbreviation) would simply not work within my DAW. They need to release version 3 already, it is wayyyy overdue.
