The reason i love these cards is that depsite obvious female and male components, such as beards or breasts, every single artwork screams both male and female. I feel this ties to really important bonds of unity between the energy of the universe and the concept of human gender. Every single card seems to capture androgyny in every aspect.

I definitely agree with you on that point!

I consider this one of the most beautiful decks i own, especially with one of my birth cards being the High Priestess along with the judgment card. The priestess in this deck is stunning & I adore the soft color palette. Great review, thx.

Totally gorgeus cards!!! Soft, sparkling, dazzling beautiful watercolor art!!! It gives a very ethereal, feminine and mystical vibe, i'm really loving it. This a very accurate deck for my reading style!! I'm a Pisces magician and i think this tarot totally fits my personality and essence.

I love that you do these full walk throughs. It forces me to truly look at the decks from someone else’s perspectives and I feel like your descriptions resonate with me better than the books often do. I know this a typical RWS deck but I was struggling to connect with it. But it was all clicking into place as you went through. My only wish is that you had given your take on the ones where you simply commented “this is typical RWS”. This is the third deck you’ve helped me connect with when I had thought it was a lost cause. Thank you thank you thank you for putting the time in to do these!

It hasn’t been released yet. From the looks of it, they kinda look like the extra cards included in this deck. www.kickstarter.com/projects/evpublishing/ethereal-visions-dreamscape-oracle-deck

mjāy | mononoke i think the reason it looks similar is because it’s made by the same person lmao

I always interpreted the seven of swords as someone cleaning/clearing the swords of the dead off of a battlefield after the battle has occurred. The command tent is still up and the guy (girl in this case) looks kind of jubilant, indicating that his side was victorious. Like a "to the victor, the spoils" thing.

Ok ... I’m sold. The artwork is original, but is true to Pamela’s interpretations. I enjoy decks that I can use as either primary focused reading or as clarifiers. To me, it’s a new interpretation of the original concept .. a cool, easy interpretation. The emotions and body language of the images are true to the purposes of tarot. “Well Done” to the artist. They match the vibe that card images should give to the reader. I like the muted colors and color-wash feeling that allows for a more personal reading. * Some cards will shout at the reader ... this one whispers and provokes personal interpretation.*. We are all different... our cards likes are different, ... this one speaks to my thoughts of looking deeper. Again, my congrats to the artist for a well thought out vision of meaning. Art should give thought to the viewer. . A great deck.

The reason gold was omited from the back is probably because if it is scratched on the back it would make it different. Then that would defeat the purpose of the backs of the cards being all the same. So in my opinion, no gold on the back is a good thing. And the color scheme from the back is also incorporated in the fronts. So it does work well. But this is just my opinion.

You did an excellent job with this walkthrough video. I was going to purchase this deck a few weeks ago, but instead I purchased the wild unknown tarot, which originally I didn't like but I recently changed my mind and decided to get it. Now that I've seen this video, it's clear I now need the lovely Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot. Thank you for your videos, keep up the great work.

Thank you, Kelly!! This looks like a really gorgeous deck. Tarot Mucha has been on my wish list for a while...now I think I will go with this one instead :) PS your commentary on the backs, the shine, and the card stock is always so specific, well thought out, and reasonable with a professional reader's concerns in mind...maybe the publishing houses should hire you as a consultant! :D

I got this recently and I agree it’s such a beautiful one! I think it has some really interesting details, like I enjoy how the gilding in the corners kind of suggests wings in some of the cards (I’ve decided that’s where I will see the missing angel in the Lovers and the missing bird in the Nine of Pentacles 😆) and how the active element knights are on horses while the passive element knights just have horses on their armor, and the cool detail with the Hanged Man. But I agree, the King of Wands looks like a suburban dad on Halloween. 😂 Awesome walkthrough!

This is a pretty deck, I am very pleased you did a walkthrough of it because I was so very undecided about it. Now, having seen it in its entirety, I dont feel that Im missing out by not having it. The art nouveau style and gilding peaked my interest but its not enough interest to make me want to buy it at this time. That may change with time but for now I can put this one on the backburner, my wallet is happy LMAO

Excellent! I've been waiting to see this, Kelly! I do prefer the smaller boxes, too. I keep my boxes/cards in either a satin baggie or the Organza baggies with a crystal stone, and some boxes just don't fit in the baggies. It can get too expensive. I Love the gilding! I agree, I'm loving the female Pages. I've been looking for "Princesses" for the Pages, decks.

Excellent review, this is just a beautiful deck! I agree about the power of the body postures, very impressive and dynamic. And the box looks like it is similar to the Spiritsong box which is very nice. This is the last deck I have ordered (the deck has not arrived yet) and I am very much looking forward to all its glory. Thank you for the video, Kelly. Any chance, that you will make a review of the Celestial Tarot in the future? I have never heard you mention that one, I think.

ive been watching all your tarot reviews to find more oracle and tarot decks to get, but omg i never hear anyone talk about the Lo Scarabeo Astrological Oracle! Those oracle cards minus my Roots and Wings are my absolute favorite...they always give me accurate and wonderful readings, alongside the Roots and Wings deck. I did however modify my astrology ones due to not liking the white borders. loved the silver gilding on the sides, but hated the white borders. Ive recently bought the Forest of Enchantment Tarot, and that one seems VERY sassy. This deck in this video, is one ive been thinking about for awhile because of how much i love the astrology ones....alongside the Hidden Realms deck....sorry for the rant! I appreciate your reviews! Theyve definitely helped me connect more with decks and figure out which ones i love
