A tavern is simply a pub. Aka, a bar in the US. They ALL have their "regulars" and they ALL follow the opening and closing hours as per the local laws. "After hours" clubs are a different story, and tend to be more "exclusive" and expensive.

Goa isn't about the night life and drugs The way most people think...it's a wholesome state...which you'd understand if you go to the villages or even if you talk to people in the cities There's way more to Goa than just drinks night life and drugs
