This was great Barbie! You both said everything so well and hopefully people who are shopping for crystals will understand those of us small sellers are doing our best when sourcing crystals for our shops.

I enjoyed this collaboration and conversation topic so deeply. Two of my favorite crystal ladies speaking truth and shinning a light on an important topic. I hadn't even heard about Lapis Lazuli and the Taliban connection! Thank you so much for this, and I'd enjoy another discussion between you two. 🙏🏽🌟💖👑🥰

This was such a fabulous discussion! What a dynamic duo you two are! I could sit and listen to you guys all day talking about this stuff! Yes the conflict mineral topic makes people really uncomfortable and the discussion dies off. I would love to see you two team up again in the future for other topics! I'm a fan of both your channels! 😃❤️

Thank you, ladies. Spread out the truth. I am very happy to have a metaphysical shop in my town who acts highly conscious towards ethical sourcing. The shop owner is very transparent and e.g. she does not sell Lapislazuli because of the Taliban issue. She supports small miners and she visits them on a regular basis. Reiki masters buy their crystals in her shop. For whom, who think they can smoke out the bad vibes from an unethically sourced crystal: you can't. Crystals are energetic objects. Child labour, bad working conditions, exploiting mother Earth and humans for profit will cause a profound negative shift in the crystal. Ask yourself, If you want to do energetic work with a crystal which has absorbed negativity to its core?

Wait, soo that means that all dinosaurs and plants that died and were near crystals, or some wildfire or natural disaster afects the crystal, and none of them are pure. Since they take millions or billions years to grow.... And since we cant clean some energy that was allready from crystal that is supposed to be clear and healing energy... where is the logic.... I personaly think that you can clean them, spread love and think before buying. And remember, years before our generations, they mined and there were gems... thousands of years they mines for temples and jewerly, but nobody said.. gems are unclean. They used them. We are just making a difference now, thinking and doing better for people that are living in poor conditions and trying to survive while mining.

Thank you, ladies. This was very informative, insightful and to the point. I used to be really excited about collecting crystals. It has becomes too much of a challenge verifying ethicality, authenticity and quality. I have decided to just use what I have as what I believe it to be. Also, there just seems to be a LOT of shenanigans afoot these days relative to material and treatment (i.e. heating and dying) that all you have left is trust and good faith, and that is not always enough to carry you thruough. Besides, all of this "awareness" is also driving prices beyond my budget. **SIGH**

I harvest crystals and stones from my own personal claim on a mountain I cherish. I am located in BC, Canada and collect with joy and gratitude, never for money. Seek out the stones that mother Earth gives, rather than those commercially exploited.

I went to list a cluster on Etsy and there were so many fake clusters listed as real. These were all from overseas sellers. I do my absolute best to make sure that I do know my sources and buy mostly mine direct. I avoid claiming 100% ethically sourced because I'm way over here and can't guarantee.

I’ve been ordering crystals from places like enchanted crystal subscription box and the Crystal Council subscription box. What is your opinion about small subscription box businesses and the authenticity and ethical practices used to obtain their crystals? I have always liked what I have received from both of these small businesses, but I am just curious what your opinion is.

what do you think of mining for lithium for battery operated cars? most of it's going to come from China
@supahfreekfun7285 Жыл бұрын
YES , mine yourself. There are even some miners that mine around, with allmost 0 danger, and are happy from mining and video everything. Thats probably good source. But can we even say it s ethical to mine... what are we doing to the planet. I have nothing against picking some crystal that you find on ground, naturaly pushed out. Or digging and making terrible holes that destroy earth..... hmmmm...thinking about it...
