Mesert , It is my pleasure to do that, In response to low blood pressure ,systematic nervous system kick in and activate 1.Liver to produce Angiotesinogen ,2.Kidney to produce Renin , these two hormone form Angiotensin I ( this is inactive form), then the lung sense this and produce ACE( Angiotensin Converting Enzyme) then ACE will convert Angio I to Angio II, Angiotensin II will influence 1.Adrenal gland to release Aldostron that will help the reabsorption of sodium and water which cause increase Blood pressure ( side effects decrease potassium) 2.The kidney will activate vasoconstriction in artery causing increase blood pressure. Is it clear Mesert?
Can you writ the medications name, I am Nursing student.

Your Dr is the one decided that.BUT bear in your mind that, "normal blood pressure means the medication is doing its job'. The MD might tapere down the dose, the frequency. The take away is work closely with you doctor do not stop your medication abruptly.
What if the medications treats me bad and make me feel dizzy

Hello Joan Phillips, When it comes to medications side effects, remember nearly any drug can cause some unpleasant reactions, as a patient we need to known about our medication common side effects ( mild to sever) Do not stop taking your medication for any unpleasant reactions. The benefit of tje medication may outweigh any side effecr. Talk to your doctor. The doctor need to check any side effects that may be directly caused by the drug. At the same time take safety measures avoid activities that can cause harm to you and others like driving, operating machineries and avoid falls. Wish you the best !!!

Dear Joan to be in safe side it is best to consult your doctor, since cases are different from individual to individual. But to give you a general information ibuprofen makes your body to retain fluid ,this process tend to increase your blood pressure. When it comes to the tea, it has caffeine that can rise your BP. I hope these will answer some of the consern you have. You take care.
