Thanks for your video. I am hearing the story of the language for the second time. The first was between Ras Hailu of Godjam and King George of Great Britain. Ras Hailu answered the King to his 'no I don't speak Amharic, etc...' Then we are both equally ignorant!😁

Goobanaa Daaccii (the butcher), was Minilk's (Amhara) field negro. Qusii Binagde, aka Habtegiyorgis Binagdee (the captive) was Minilk's (Amhara) house negro. Both of them, Goobanaa and Qusii, had served their masters from the bottom of their hearts. In lieu of their best serves, however, they were finally granted the Abyssinian batch of humulation. Wearing the batches, they finally left the wretched Empire for the everlasting world of ember. The Empire they left behind has been being burnt ever since.
