I love you beautiful Brothers and Sisters people of Tigray. You Rock. You're fascinating and well mannered society. I can't get enough of your wonderful traditional music. God bless you and God bless Tigray. From USA!
"No justice No peace "LESS talks more actions, and Amhar is not disarming. Mr Abey and the regime should be able to court for genocide criminal justice in Ethiopia.
"yibell guaylaa" Keep the tigringna tradition alive.

FROM RUTHHAILE1 TO ARLSANT: Belekum means in Tigrina language " he has told you" or " here he comes to get you" all in relation directing to more than one person. I think it could be a sign of some sort, dont forget at one time of our ancessers's time we all spoke one lanuage, if true the Garden of Eden was in area of Ethiopia and Eritrea which the people speak Tigrina which Tigrina comes from the ancent language Geiz, which the word Belekum comes from.i hope this helps you RUTHHAILE1

ArlSant: I have no familial link to Tigrai people, that I know of, but I do know only that the ONE True God created all of us. As far as I know, my background, aside from Asian roots, also includes Spaniards from the Castillian Region. I believe BELEKUM is a call from Him. It was such an awesome dream. When He showed this to me God even spelled it in huge three-dimensional block letters so I won't forget. ARLSANT

There is too much pressure on Amhar. It gives you the power to fight back. Ethiopia citizens stand together with Amhar and get free and fair Ethiopian.
Very fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed the music, dance, and the beautiful clothes. I don't know any Ethiopian word at all, but one day I awoke from a dream loudly speaking the word BELEKUM three times. I even saw the spelling in the dream. I "googled" the word BELEKUM and I'm still not sure if it uniquely from Ethiopia. What does BELEKUM mean?

Ruthhaile1 continues: • one more thing I have watched a documentary once about elephants which states that an elephant can go to a river which he has never been before with no direction problmes only because his ancessters has been there before which the knowledge is genetically passed on to them, it could be posibble for humans to.. in this case if your great grand parents were once a Tigrai people and the lanugae come back to you in your dreams welcome back brother...

I am n't understand the word so ..But actually nice music n sound
It is really hard to explain it because it has a literal meaning and a word usage meaning. I will try to explain. The word belekum is a Tigrina word. The word drives from a single word "bel" which means say it. Belekum is s derivative of "bel" which mean is used in a phrase in the song. He says "EnQuaE des belekum"....which means "I'm gad you are happy" (plural). Now the word belekum is meant to express a feeling. I'm not sure if i'm making sense :)

Some months ago, in 2011, I posted a query in KZbin about my dream BELEKUM.I only speak English and an Asian language, but BELEKUM is not part of my own native language. I asked many people from different people groupings in the multi-cultural university I attend. Others responded, but was also kind'a baffled too - like me. Solomonpilot767 replied with "...it means be happy"
Thank you for the comment regarding my dream, a word, BELEKUM. The other comments from Ruthhaile1 and Johannes Gigar were just as intriguing as well.

Intriguing! Atse is an ancient name for Asian. Thanks, I am interested to know the names of the Atse king that Asia was named after. I wonder if Atse includes Southeast Asian?
