My husband is from Addis we have everything to make this right now, we tried this before from a coffee shop owned by his friend and loved it. Hopefully it turns out as tasty as this looks.... Thank you for the recipe.

Why was my ful looking greasy and affecting my stomach as if it was as well????? It came to go from a restaurant and wondering if grease is added to please American customers.
@EthioKitchen4 жыл бұрын
ghostship85 I think few reasons : 1) if you’re not used to eating legumes, your gut bacteria may need to adjust to it so first few times you may get bloated 2) if not hulled/shelled and not cooked through, it may be difficult to digest 3) I feel Restaurant dishes can be salty and greasy to make them more tasty My suggestion: it is sooo easy to make ful.... just get canned fava, rinse well, fry in oil/butter to your liking and top with onions/garlic/tomatoes or whatever rocks your boat and you will be very happy.....Ful is so filling and healthy.... hope this helps and happy eating/cooking ❤️🙏🏽

You topped it off with olive oil. I thought olive oil was not a staple of Ethiopian food.
