Why your imagination would create such unfounded nonsense is beyond me, but I suggest you read up on the history.

@Moish Perl This is absolutely not true. Historical research and genetic evidence are in agreement that they are a breakaway branch of Ethiopian Christianity that split off about 600-700 years ago. @@lauras2519 But Jews are an ethnic group and genetic research can help to prove or disprove historical theories. For example, Ashkenazi Jews have an estimated 50% genetic link to the Near East. All you need to do is tell them that their "NT", is NOT scripture that was given to mankind by God, and nowhere do the Hebrew scriptures say that it is! The Hebrew scriptures say NOTHING about anyone called "Jesus" or that anyone needs to "die on a cross for our sins" - this is just NOT what God actually said to us! In fact, the ONLY scriptures God ever gave to mankind are the Hebrew scriptures (Tanach) that He gave to Moses at Mt. Sinai. He specifically told us that those scriptures are ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) and that we are NOT to follow ANY other teaching that what is in those Hebrew scriptures. Christianity IS another teaching, that preaches AGAINST what God said to us at Mt. Sinai, therefore we are NOT to follow what it teaches - God's orders!! God never told us that we need any sort of 'intermediary' between Him and us, and that He wants us to approach Him DIRECTLY - not 'through' some MAN!! It would be VERY beneficial to you to purchase, (if you haven't already) Rabbi Singer's 2-vol. set of books entitled "Let's Get Biblical - Why Doesn't Judaism Believe in the Christian Messiah?". These books are encyclopedic on this subject and will provide you with a TON of information to help you counter anything a Christian may throw at you to get you to convert! I have both books and I REALLY recommend them, and also, if you don't already own one, purchase yourself a Hebrew Bible (says "TANACH" on the cover) so you can see for yourself what God actually said to us at Mt. Sinai. I wish you all the best and may Hashem guide you in dealing with these people who would preach falsehoods to you that God NEVER said to us!

Also, according to halakha, a non Jew cannot learn all of the Torah or keep all of the Torah. That being said, there is no way that you are a Torah scholar. There is no such thing as certifying a non Jew to be a Torah scholar...it simply does not exist. A Noahide can learn enough Torah that he is allowed to learn etc. Being a Torah scholar means being versed in the ENTIRE Torah meaning, Tanakh, Mishna, Gemara, Halakha, Hebrew/Aramaic language, Jewish history etc. And from my conversations with you and your own self description - you do not meet that criteria. I actually taught you some basic things that last time we spoke! This is NOT an insult. This is a MERE correction of your behavior.
@ישעיהובן-תורה4 жыл бұрын
@Strava 89 all of that being said...I wish you well in your life with much success and wealth. Just don't mislead people by saying that you are Jewish or are a Torah scholar. It is a big mistake to assume for yourself a position that you have not earned.
@ישעיהובן-תורה4 жыл бұрын
@Strava 89 1. I have seem more than one of your comments where you have replied to others as if you are Jewish. It would be like me God forbid responding to comments like a Christian etc. NEVER allude to being Jewish when you are not. It is very offensive to the Jewish community. Also, by being insulted by my counsel to you shows that you are NOT a Torah scholar. As a Torah scholar would not have had been offendes by what I said (there would not have had been a need for to write all of this to you if you were a Torah scholar). Also I NEVER said you never learned anything - I just said you are NOT a Torah scholar...simple.
@ישעיהובן-תורה4 жыл бұрын
@Strava 89 If you were born Jewish, or had an accepted Orthodox giyur, and then learned Tanakh, Mishna, Gemara, Halakha etc. in a Yeshiva for 6 years...you could be considered a knowledgable individual in all Torah matters. As it turns out, not everyone who studied Torah for 6 years in a Yeshiva is a scholar. It takes much more determination and support than usual. I am saying all of this out of love to you, as I see that you are misguided in this matter.

The answer is that they are not being discriminated against. I've seen those reports too and I researched them and found them to be fake news. The sources that claim discrimination tend to be political actors who have an agenda. There are many branches among the Children of Israel. Some are Ethiopian Jews, others are Spanish Jews, others are Ashkenazi Jews, Iranian Jews, Greek Jews, and so on. It's self-evident. They are called Ethiopian Jews, by wit of their heritage and their origination point. I hope this, in some small way, clears things up for you. Yes, they are Jews, and we are all Jews. We're Jews first. Even the Torah, even Maimonides, and even Jewish tradition, freely associates us with our community. Going back to the time of Queen Esther, the Jews of Shushan, were known as the Jews of Shushan. There's no issue here. Please do not create issues where none previously existed! I too, found the captions very difficult to read. The white captions against the white clothes (white shirts) is not conducive to legibility. What I found, that might help, is to click the little "gear" icon on the lower right corner of the video window. There's a setting that can sharpen the resolution. When I adjusted the resolution to a higher setting, the captions were a little easier to read. However the captions should not be white against white, and you've hit on an excellent point. The captions ARE difficult to see, and the settings do not affect their size, nor their legibility. All we can do is squint and try to change the video window to a higher resolution.

שלום עליכם السلام عليكم When Quran said that : لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ Translate : You have your way, and I have my Way. My view is : So if you are jews, then do your jews way (halakhah for jews). If you are christian, then do your christian way. If you are muslim, then do your islam way (syariah law for muslim). We as a religious people should respect other religions no matter what religions they believed. But we should not "convert" or "impose" our religion to other religions, because it is their belived faith. It is cruelest if someone impose or convert their religion to our religion and said that their religion is right one than our religion that we have believed already. Hopefully people faith will make tolerance of humanity in our beloved earth. May God bless us. Thank you.
