How is this compared to a ducted cinewhoop? I was planning on getting a standard cinewhoop but I like the idea of being able to use the 6S batteries I already have and of being able to take the prop guards off and fly it as a 3" freestyler.

Nice. FYI your crossfire TX antenna should be horizontal , same way the RX antenna is positioned. For proper range.

The Gemfan ducted props worked better for me on the Squirt. The HQ ducted props made my motors run super hot.

Heya Drain man, i was wondering if you could help me with my flat rats? (1507 2800 KV), i put 6s flat rats in my bumble bee and it desynced hard couldnt fly it, so i adjusted some settings recommended by Josh Bardwells videos and he's associates, ive set my ramp up in blheli to 18%, motor timing to 22 degrees and demag on high, this has helped but the drone has no power even if i give it full trottle it still desyncs same with when i make the quad fall (drop elevation), ive set up throttle idle in betaflight set it to 14, I've copied pids for a squirt that flew well, also ive tried less filtering and i think that helped a bit but still flys like shit. the motors only get warm. I noticed the motors have big gaps between stator and bell magnets to make them run smooth but seems its too big. These motors were expensive but i think they are crap tried everything hey . Please if you could recommend anything would be much appreciated. did you tune it to make it fly so well or? When i say desync i mean the quad wigs outs sometimes crashes into the ground . I've tried two esc's/flight controller combos still have the problem. using iflights 40a aio board atm. Kind regards Adam

Very nice build! But, I think it does not fly as good as it looks. My thought is with a 6s lipo, it just spins a 3” prop past the point of diminishing returns, and with it’s AUW, running a smaller lipo isn’t an option. I think this would be perfect if it could fit a 4” prop.

S3ppoFPV WOW, an AUW of 620g with a 3" prop just isn't going fly all that well, as far as freestyle goes! Although it is advertised as a Cine so maybe that's exactly what it is and nothing more! All good, love the frame!

we tune motor kv to voltage, so a 6s and a 4s swing the propeller, get this, the same exact speed, if all else is accounted for. The 6s will just have a higher voltage and therefore lower amperage to get identical wattage, meaning less stress on each individual battery cell and longer flight times because of this.

Matthew Walsh - Agreed! The problem with this build is the AUW to the prop, or disc space. Again, it is advertised as a Cine, so it may get great HD slow cruise footage, but I don’t think it will be worth a damn as a freestye HD capture. Just my opinion, and i could be totally wrong!
