Lord. I’m happy it turned out good. Cause at first I was like OH NO😮! I was considering going to Korea for some under eye treatments but I’m all for beauty enhancing. I’m glad it worked out for you. As far as race thing…. I’m not surprised I would be so annoyed if I had to pull up my dam wig if it wasn’t a glueless. You look beautiful congratulations on your new nose.

@@ChocolateBabe_ thank you so much! i’ve heard korea is greattttt for treatments! and yes a few people have said they’ve experienced funny attitudes in that same airport. it was weird even tho i entered the country with a blonde wig, my passport picture actually has a black wig so i dunno why they found it so confusing seeing me leave the country with black hair! thank you so much 💘

About the racist security thing, yes and no. Im not speaking about Istanbul specifically, but when you have a country that’s not super racially/culturally diverse, it can be hard to identify individuals of other races. So if there is even a modest difference from how you look in your passport photo, or even how you looked last time you were at the border, it’s going to be harder for them to tell that you’re the same person, and so those changes will look more suspicious. I’m white and American but I lived in China for a few years and got pulled aside by security on the Chinese side a LOT crossing the border to and from Hong Kong after I had lost some weight, but none of the security on the Hong Kong side ever batted an eye, nor did the TSA when I went home to visit. They probably thought the wig was a disguise rather than a commonly worn accessory simply due to lack of exposure/context. Sucks that you had to deal with that, it can be pretty scary dealing with foreign authorities!

yeah a lot of people have said they’ve had weird interactions with the immigration at that particular airport. i i was taken aback because like why would you assume the blonde was my real hair and be suspicious of seeing me with black hair when even my passport picture wasn’t blonde hair either 😂 i was just glad i was early to the airport bc they could have made me miss the flight with the way it took so long

@txzthai I think you being mistaken for someone else by the authorities due to wearing the hair of another race, along with the ethnic rhinoplasty contributes.

⁠@@RachelLondoni still don’t understand what you’re on about?? also i had blonde hair when i arrived, by the time i was leaving my hair was black which is what they asked about so that has nothing to do with race…

@txzthai The ethnic rhinoplasty and wearing hair of another race demonstrates that you don't like your original features, which make up you. That's why I asked the question. Your skin, hair, and nose are generally the three features that determine your ethnicity. You've altered two, which is why I asked.
