Old black girl of stealing. The little girl argued with her and left the juice she was going to purchase on the counter. When the girl walked away to leave the store, the woman shot her in the back of the head. She got no jail time, only probation and she had to leave the country. People took to the streets to riot. @haatpraat29934 жыл бұрын
@Sukan I'm talking about Africans being thrown out of their rental accomodations in China because their landlords think coronavirus is from Africa. In fact coronavirus is from China. It is from a 'wet market' where snakes, bats, dogs etc are keep in casges for food or it came out of a Chinese lab. Either way Wuhan was the place that was first locked down in the world and it is China where people were first dying in big numbers because of coronavirus.

Piece of advice for Africans in Guangzhou (in response to all the comments here pointing at racism): - Learn Chinese - make an effort to integrate (how many of you would travel to the U.S. and not understand a word in English??) - Form an organization or group for Africans in Guangzhou and work together! - As a group, have a representative speak for you when you have issues. Be organized. - As a group, stay informed on announcements and protocols in your host country (China). - Make sure you always keep members of the community informed and on the same page. - As a group, always work together to flush out illegal migrants! Protect your dignity and pride as Africans and flush out anyone that spoils your name. - Earn your respect and protect it. If you cannot make the effort then stay in your home country.

Yega you should tell that to the Chinese here in Canada. They dont assimilate with Canadians

danny Q They don’t speak any English? I seriously doubt that. Secondly, they work together. I watched a news clip about people in the Chinese community in Canada delivering groceries to each other’s homes because they chose to self isolate when the outbreak started.
@mnkystyle4 жыл бұрын
Not all Chinese here but lots don’t bother to learn English. I’m Chinese myself so there are exceptions. There’s a city called Richmond and it’s bought up by Chinese people, probably because of the name. All the business signs are in Chinese characters and if you don’t speak Mandarin or at least Cantonese you don’t get service. It’s an injustice to non Chinese Canadians.
@yega3k4 жыл бұрын
danny Q I see what you mean. There is a place like that here in Nigeria too (like a China town of sorts). I guess my other points still apply (the need for Africans to work together). It is harder for a crises like the one in Guangzhou to happen if the community works together.

Wow, so many hateful comments here.... There's no denying that racism exist in Guangzhou, but try to understand it's not specifically against Africans. Local Guangzhou people are racist against their own kind from other provinces because they're habits & lifestyle are different, harder working and often overtaking them in their own jobs, competition and the list goes on (First hand info from a Guangzhou resident I've known). People are proud of their culture and lifestyle where ever they are from, try fitting into the local lifestyle and their ways could avoid these confrontations? It's inevitable that cultures clash in some small ways but is revenge and hatred going to solve anything? Some respect and understand from both sides will be a good start.

@@chengchiu957 There are many unknown factors here like what kind of VISA they're on. Or they cannot drive because they don't have a local drivers license? I'm not allowed to drive in China because I don't have their local licence, it's too much hassle to apply because of the time it'll take and tests, is that not reasonable?

There's a lot of difference between Africans from Africa and African Americans. Africa is a huge continent with so many smaller countries in it. I wished one day they would unite and put away their differences, but it remains to be seen. Japan was able to do it, but not without bloodshed.

Long isGone African Americans have been in the US for up to 400 years. I don’t have time to explain why we are ‘different’. Study our history if you care & you will know.
@francescaharbor17314 жыл бұрын
@@michellehubbard8865 well, you speak English. That's why! You don't speak Caza or Zulu or mapokar or SOTU Hodci tozi. This is just some of the Native Africans languages. There are more. Need I say more?
@michellehubbard88654 жыл бұрын
Francesca Harbor WTF is the matter with you? This person compares AA’s to Africans in a cultural manner when we should not be compared. I am proud of my history & I accept who we are as a people now..I don’t gaf about not speaking one of the languages that the many West & Central African ethnic groups of my ancestors spoke. Their cultures were taken from them in slavery. It was ILLEGAL in most of America for slaves to openly practice their past culture! (Genetically, through DNA tracing to 2 of my 6th generation cousins I’m part Igbo..I’m sure I’m numerous other ethnic groups too. Mostly Nigeria & the Senegambia area). My point to this person is that ‘race’, nationality, ethnicity & culture are different things. My ancestors were from West & Central Africa. I am NOT. You want to pretend like you’re smart but you don’t know that black Americans are predominantly of West African & some Central African ancestry. If you knew that you wouldn’t even mention the Zulu language you idiot. I don’t know anything about Africa but I respect where my ancestors came from & acknowledge my racial background. I know full well I speak English because I am an American!!
