You are right Etho about how when you order a sandwich, there is always some kind of onion in there. When I ordered a grilled cheese at a popular food joint, some how I can taste that bitter nasty smelling onion inside the cheese for some reason.

I love onions. I make caramelized onions with brown sugar and use it like a condiment. Burgers, Hot dogs, roast beef... It makes every dish delicious.

Etho, onions are good in controlled amounts. If they overpower your food, it was not prepared right. Simmer some minced onions, celery, ginger, and carrots in olive oil. Then get some ziti, Parmesan, and some mozzarella, and whatever else you like, then boil the ziti until its al dente, then add the vegetables, cheese, ziti, and tomato sauce with ground beef to a dish, then stick it in the oven and bake it... Best damn baked ziti you will ever taste.

The point is onions add flavor to the meal if they are prepared right, in a moderate serving, of course if you throw in a shit load of onions its gonna taste bad, just mince up half an onion into tiny bits, and throw it in with tomato sauce, ziti, ground beef, celery, ginger, cheeses... etc, you aren't even gonna taste the onion by them selves.

Hey Etho, I really like the idea of the jump test, but I was thinking maybe instead of having a really long line of ever block hight, maybe you could do something with pistons, to elevate the snow slabs 1 block higher? Just a thought :D

ethooo getting clay will no longer be a big problem this is what i read on the minecraft wiki page for uppcomming updates : Clay Canyon Mountain type biome jokingly referred to as "Disco Mountains" [5] and similar to Biomes O' Plenty's "Canyon" biome. Composed of multiple colored hardened clays. Dead shrubs spawn in this biome.

I have to say I completely agree with you about onions. My mom is especially bad about putting it in everything. She ruins macaroni and cheese with ham casserole by adding onions to it! What's worse is that she KNOWS I hate onions and she STILL puts them in everything. I can't imagine a person liking onions THAT much! It's just cheap filler that ruins the flavor of anything it's in. Oh, and besides the taste or smell, it also squeaks when you bite through it. Yuck!

Hi Etho, I got a little idea: if you put pistons below de dirtblocks in front of the wall, you have two different wall-heights per 2-block space. By doing this, you would half the length of your wall. I hope you read this (some thumbs-up might help). You're welcome, Chris

@tmpace9 that wouldn't work at all. The snow slabs wouldn't be moved back by the pistons, even if sticky, since they only stick to one block. assuming pistons even move them, which I can't say I know.

I cannot eat bell peppers. They wreck my stomach. I tell restaurants (this does not work as well at fast food places), that I am allergic to BPs. I say they can't pick out of food if they were sautéed with the food because they leave the oils behind. I also ask, if ordering something new with unknown ingredients, if BP is in it. If yes, I ask if it can be removed prior to cooking. They will ask the cooks and report back. If it cannot be removed, I can order something else.Good luck.
