Glitchy mobs in SMP. Sometimes they are invisible, and you have to relog to see them. Since Etho was recording, he chose not to relog and just dealt with it.

You can kill with 2 instant damage potions, but they need to hit square on. Always hit with 3 potions. Use a teir 2 poision (the time boosted one) to keep the enemy out of the fight for a very long time.
