all the lamps should be removed and just have a simple line down the center floor for it so there is still visuals as to where in the track it is. only 1/4 the lights so hopefully less lag

I love the disco ball. It's so small and subtle, but it's so hilarious and awesome. I feel it was a fantastic addition to the red hub. The movie theatre was hilarious too. Arkas makes the best shows. Words cannot convey how much I love the Underground Sound. I've always made pianos in Minecraft, but this is a Minecraft musician's haven. Fantastic video!

It's different everywhere, in some houses it's up, in some houses it's down. It doesn't really matter where you are. In schools, for example, up is usually off. In my house up is on.

Hey Etho - been watching your videos for a while now. Great job with Underground Sound! I'm one of those 'formally trained" musicians, and it's always refreshing to see what 'lay' people can create - especially in a video game format which has always intrigued me. In my house, the light switches can be either way - if you turn a light on using one switch then turn it off with a different switch wired to the same light, then the first switch is turned on by flicking it down instead of up.

Idea for the blank area? Maybe a café style sitting area, sort of like a poetry reading group or blues club, as it fits with most songs on the note blocks. Other MindCrackers can enjoy some chow as M-C-Tho (pronounced Em See Tho, like MC and Etho combined) drops some beats. The jams go well with cake. Plus, the underground idea is neat for a club atmosphere, especially being underneath or around a record store.

The note blocks aren't just being delayed because of server lag, it happens on Singleplayer too (although much less noticable). Note blocks are just so crude and difficult to work with. To tune the blocks you hit it up to 32 times or something each block, it doesn't have a very consistent timing to it (occasionally notes meant to play on the same tick on a different sequence do not play simultaneously), which is (nearly) impossible to correct. I think that an interface for the note block would be awesome. I could imagine a slider/arrow buttons changing the tone of the note (C,D,E,F,G,A,B, & respective sharps [#] and flats [b]) with the color and size of the note above, the label of what it is, and maybe which octave it is. Also I could imagine a setting that changes what instrument it plays instead of having a block below that determines it. Unfortunately, an interface would probably only make more sense to those who know about music, and not enough people really use note blocks enough for Mojang to make a priority to add an interface. :(

A mod for that would be awesome, but I feel it might kind of ruin the simplicity of vanilla. Take repeaters or comparators, for instance. There's no interface, you just have to right click it - which sometimes confuses me with the comparators. However, note blocks have many more settings than comparators and an interface would be nice - but maybe just a couple of buttons to change a number up and down, and to the side of that, show the note name.

Etho make a record store in the back. Compete with Pyro even though you said you didn't. Take the lapis exchange for example. There are 2 and they compete. Competition makes for good videos and in your case your videos can't get any better. The only thing I can think of is a friendly rivalry. A record shop would be PERFECT for the end part is underground sound. Marvelous spot for a record shop.

I think some pixel art would be a good idea for Underground Sound. It really blends in to the landscape right now, but if you had a note or something above the entrance people would be more likely to notice it.

Now they should add some kind of wire that you connect to all the noteblocks going into a new block: a Burner. Then you need to be able to fish up empty disc's and put them in the burner to burn your own music :D Rename your Empty Disc in a Anvil or in the Burner itself and you have an awesome update??

Instead of progress lights for all 4 tracks you could do 1 lamp per track to indicate if it's on or off and then one line of progress lights in the roof/ floor. That would cut down the amount of lamps by over half.

I'm not sure but I think it would only be loaded chunks but it would also remove any named hostile mobs as well so they are not likely to do that.

Kinda behind on my Etho videos, but I did watch Zisteau's video before this of his beat mixer also in the spawn village. It seems really similar, and with him actually having a musical background, I'm hesitant that yours is going to take the back-burner. At the same time, it is KIND OF different, and I'd love to see what Zed would do with your underground beats.

Etho! You don't have to fill the wall back in! Just fill with a few trees, flowers, park benches etc. and a gravel path, more ways to strategise a plan and more enjoyable gameplay
