I flew on Etihas MAN - AUH - BKK last year in business class. Had a great flight with great crew, food and service. Although I just don't understand the need for rear facing seats. They have no place on an aircraft.

The layout actually gives passengers more space, it's all about the human jigsaw. Once you are airborne, you don't even notice which way round you are!

Nice report mate, this has myself really looking forward to my trip from MEL-LHR in business in August. I was also pleasantly surprised they seem to have returned to pre covid service, serving a starter first then the mains, rather than on the same tray all at once. Though I will add, I am a little disappointed of not matress topper or PJ's being offerred.

the color of the restrooms onboard are dark and creepy. when i flew from auh-syd on the a380 in years past, getting up in the dark from the seat, and entering the restroom was eerie....lack of color is not inviting. hopefully the service has been better; too. the crew on my flight were stoic/robotic and uncaring.

They are quite dark, but that's great on a night flight. Sadly crews will always be hit and miss, but most of the flights we've taken have been way above par.

the concern here is that the airline does not offer proper bedding, such as a mattress compared to Emirate's business class suites.

The food depends on what time of day, but it’s everything from calamari with sweet chilli dip, to pies and lamb shanks and very tasty salad bowls

Great video. Flying next Weds. EY informed me they were using the Number 1 lounge at LHR. How was the arrival procedure at AUH?

Might be miss information, unless they've moved back to Terminal 4. At Terminal 4 the Etihad lounge was taken over by Number 1, but still an Etihad branded lounge. If you are flying from T3, the lounge is the Qantas Lounge, or at least it was a few weeks ago when i travelled.

Not a good vid, why do you all show the menu at an angle so its impossible to read, then camera down it like a speed skier. Again instead of talking about it all, horrible grating music being played. 2/10 for effort but rubbish.
