I've never flown first class in any international airline, but I have flown a number of international flights. I've throughly enjoyed Etihad's service and planes. They're so professional and amazing - even the main cabin experience is wonderful. Would love to try this sometime though!

Your 1st class apartment is absolutely gorgeous. What I love the most is the dry bar containing various soft drinks. Etihad Airways looks like a great airline to fly abroad.

While I've done enough flying and traveling via commercial class, the beauty of this is that I no longer feel the urge to experience this level of flying first-hand. I've seen so many of your beautifully shot videos (as well as other travelers on KZbin), it's like I've been there and done it all vicariously and virtually. Thank you! PS.....Pre-dessert? I've ever heard of such a thing. Between the availability of great food and booze in the pre-flight lounge and on the plane, you've got to be careful. It's like a luxury cruise; but at least on a cruise ship you can walk around and have access to a gym.

A close call between Etihad and Emirates. Emirates has a better entertainment system. Etihad's ambience looked more subtle and classy. As for the in flight menu and meal presentation I'd say Emirates would win by a few notches. Awesome video.

Emirates is better than emirates in First and Buisness. In Buisness and first the bed is more comfortable, the foods presentation is better and in general, from my experience, the food is better, apart from the steak, étira de tends to get the steak right every time while emirates tends to overcook it. And you get more privacy in first on emirates on the new first but on the a380 the seats don’t have as much privacy but have much larger and nicer bathrooms, amenity kits, snacks, and also has a large and nice looking bar and lounge. Overall emirates is better. And the flight attendants are usually more attentive on emirates

Yeah the flight got delayed... but that just means you got to spend three more hours in that nice lounge. I wouldn't complain, unless I had a really tight schedule. On company time, however ? Delay away !

He might have cashed in frequent flyer miles and got it at an affordable rate. If he travels extensively, he has probably racked up a lot of frequent flyer miles on several credit cards that can earn him points toward free or discounted plane tickets. I read in an article that a guy cashed in 1,000,000 frequent flyer miles and got a first class ticket on an Emirates flight for only $1500.00. It pays to travel for business and pleasure.

The First Class apartment is pretty cool, but if you really want to travel in style then you need to upgrade to Etihad's RESIDENCE suite which there is only 1 per aircraft with its own inflight butler. Hows that for air travel.. lol!!
