Saw someone starving & begging for a 2nd pack of biscuits on a rather long, no meal flight. "Well Sir if we give it to you we have to give it to everyone." Everyone within earshot practically screamed no, said they swore they wouldn't ask, just please give him a 2nd packet. Finally after about 20 minutes a passenger gave him a packet he'd decided not to eat (or maybe swiped from sleeping neighbor.) Guy might have been diabetic & embarrassed to say it, or just starving, but never seen anyone beg like that (not even homeless.) Poor guy. Jerk airlines.

I'm sure you could dismiss them if you wanted privacy. You can tell the whole service is set up for people high profile enough to want complete privacy -- hence them being last on and last off, not to mention the private lounge, etc. A person with enough money to travel this way regularly more than likely has a personal assistant that would either interface as an intermediary between the butler service and the guest, (or) they would deliver specific conduct instructions to the staff.

I'm old school though... I love everything about aviation & travel from the waking up early (failing to sleep) knowing it's travel day , checking in, waiting in departure lounge to view aircrafts, boarding lines, aisle seat closest to the engines & wings, staying up to view 50% of flight before a nap, in flight goodies. Although a first class experience like this would also be great, it's definitely a once in a time thing for me as I'm a enormous aviation lover and love the process more so than the destination. The saddest part for me is leaving the airports hehe

First of all, ABU to MOM is 3.5 hours, not 2.5. $3-4K isn't bad at all for this level of service even if it's on a shorter flight. For someone who enjoys traveling and has the means, this is absolutely worth it. Some people always feel the need to bash people with money, saying "oh you're spending $$$ on xxx while millions lives in poverty". How do you know this guy isn't donating money to people in need? Ok maybe not drive but you wouldn't need an A380 more like an A320/321 Edit- A380's are meant for very long distance hense why they are double decker and carry hundreds of passengers, example-London Heathrow to Sydney obviously you would stop of at Dubai which is I think a 24hour flight probably longer

Well when you think of it, the first class and business class is the biggest revenue for airlines while economy is just a fill in for the plane. Knowing this, the workers will understand that you as a first class or business class customer are the reason they have jobs. So obviously they will smile when you walk in because they are there because of you. Yes there will be some that have fake smiles but you have that in every class of society. Cant believe some people are so annoyed by someone else giving them a smile.

Micky Driver that is painful yet true. I fly economy all the time, I usually fly business but on special occasions. When I fly economy, flight attendants are very unkind, not happy, and look like they haven't got a raise in their lives. When I fly business or first, I see enthusiastic flight attendants that love their job and look like they respect you but they actually don't and just want to be nice to wealthy people and their money. A sad reality indeed.

ahaha only true in most US-based airlines. Most economy attendants on other airlines are very nice. I do fly first and business very often and yes the level of service is extremely noticeable however smiles also come from the fact that first and business class passengers usually have proper etiquette and are very well spoken.
