Gold might be a useless asset in a country like US (for now) but In a country like India where our money depreciate consistently over time, gold is a good investment. In any country where the money's value depreciate over time gold is great asset. When you called it useless i think you are qouting Warren buffet's interview, his view is for US investers not for Indian investers.

Now a days s.i.p inflow 20000cr per month . Out flow is 100 cr. After 5years inflow is low. Out flow is high amount. At that time Market value is fallen.so mutual fund net asset value decreased. And government pension is not given after joining employ2003.And indian share market p.e ratio is very high. Even public sector banks cuts jop.adusted temperavary postings.So diffently Afterr 5 years s.i.p investment given only 5or6percent given.This person not seeing before 3years .now very popular because s.i.p investment every month increased.when it is slowdown then reflected in market at that time this person goaway.

U r wrong Now they are investing 2000cr per month for just 15 crore demat accounts just a 10% of the Indian population. In the next 5 years it may grow at least 10% every year means no of accounts will be 25 crore demat accounts For example in america 77% of the population have investment accounts. I joined the demat account in 2010 and I didn't utilise anything until 2021. Now I regularly make a SIP every month. Dont waste your time let's make a SIP regularly and you must get good returns compared to other investments.
