You are missing her point entirely! The idea is to remain detached from your ego and everyone’s else ego because you inherently are beyond your ego. Every time you react, it is a losing battle to the ego which wants to be satisfied by drama.Easier said than done but it is very much possible. If she wanted to lecture monks they would only have retreats for them or she would be in the Himalaya.
