Thanks for the review, i spent a few months on this mod, restarted the config list several times and basically spent most of the time just fixing texture errors and small issues on the RHD configs (which are the reason for the high number of configs, otherwise it would be a half :D) ill definitelly try to take as much from this and work really hard on the next update :D

amazing detail and mod! i love many configs.. but please fix 250X configs with optional all wheel drive.. driveshaft is not properly connected to transfer case and it's only RWD

I was actually planning on making a fictional lore-friendly BMW E90/E91 mod and got really sad when I saw someone made it before me. But then I realized that it's not of such a great quality and the modder also told me that I could still make it, which I definitely wanna do. But despite my disappointment, I actually kinda enjoy this mod but I can see why people don't really like it

Noo! I actually really love this mod, the rear end looks like a BMW e90 which I honestly kind of like. Also I don't really like the normal 800 series taillights (the pointed tips look bad imo) so this is a nice refresh

i dont really wanna judge mods. as i know how difficult is to make a mod and it being free is another great thing too. i think beamng mod standard is getting higher over the years and for small mod makers, its a challenge for them. Honestly its just the beamng community bringing in free mods for us to enjoy and i cant complain 🤷‍♂️

The ETK 700 is based on the Version of the BMW M3 which was produced before the Base of the ETK 800 was introduced. So I think it has its right to be there.

IMO I think having mods even as simple as this seperated from the actual car is better. Theres a ton of mods which just add a ton of configs to an already existing car and it's just tedious to go through and select said config from that mod, even worse when the configs are not properly organised/sorted

BeamNG is a great simulator for learning to drive. For wheels, anything Logitech or Thrustmaster will be decent for a good price but if you want something high end you'd be looking at direct drive wheels such as MOZA or Fanatec. They're more for serious sim racers though.

For a mod like this, positives for me would be the added parts, the unique configs and the configs with RHD. I do agree that having it as a separate vehicle might not have been necessary though, other than telling it apart from the 800-Series 🤔

Tbh this car is based on the 2005-2011 bmw 3 series as you can clearly tell and the 800 series is based on the 2012-2018 bmw 3 series so they are essentially the same model however, what really annoys me is that the interior gauges should look different than the 800 series as the 2005-2011 bmw 3 series does have a different interior than the 2012-2018 model/what the 800 series is based on.

You can probably use a interior from brilliance those chinese 1 series gauge ripoff. That was a similar gauge to the 3 series as well. Also I think if we get an older handbrake sound that doesn't sound electronic and a less modern electric trunk sound that would fix this thing

to understand the mod u simply have to look at their real life counterparts, the ETK 800 is the BeamNG's interpretation and mash up of the BMW E9X 3 series and the F8X 3 series, while the ETK 700 it is the modder's interpretation lf a BeamNG version of ONLY the BMW E9X 3 series with a few details from the F8X 3 series

Imo the ETK 700 looks more like the BMW 3 (E90), while the ETK 800 looks more like the BMW 5 (F10) due to its size.

its just basically a e90 bmw but robert didnt want to make an e90 so he half did it and then tried to shove lore into the mix, it doesnt make sense lore wise, cuz it looks nothing alike the c-series which is a car that would be from that era, its just a 800 with different shapes + imo the bmw styling just doesnt fit in an etk cuz etk is a parody of bmw
