It tanks your FPS, that’s what it does lol For real though, this mod is absolutely stellar and I love it! I love the insane detail from the engine bay components down to the interactive interior that goes beyond what’s been seen before. The stock car is set up beautifully and really represents a mk4 mx5 in a BeamNG friendly manner. Honestly it’s kind of spooky how similarly it drives to a real mx5. This mod with a bit of polishing to get the final touches of roughness around the edges off could honestly be straight up added to the game officially. I hope it is. It’s innovative, the car and all the configurations look great, and overall I’m in love with it. It already feels like it’s a part of the vanilla game with how good it is!

@@natebrock7352 PC users should be using Vulkan rendering for better performance for some of us. I'm an AMD user and we DO benefit a LOT by using the Vulkan renderer. I'm not sure if NVidia users will see improvement though, Vulkan was supposed to be an AMD thing.

I'm actually using BeamNG to teach my girlfriend the basic muscle memory of driving before she starts actual driving instruction classes at the college this year. And i think I just found the perfect car for learning on. Best part, I just added a turn signal/wiper stalk mod to the G27 wheel I have, so it'll be a little more realistic - was intended for ATS but it does work for Beam. And yes, it is a VR configuration, originally intended for iRacing - now having evolved for mixed use

It is a great mod, especially if you're a casual BeamNG enjoyer, but if you're into creating your own custom configurations, it has some serious problems: 1) there is no toe-in, toe-out adjustment on the rear suspension, which means if you lower the car, it will handle badly, with no fix possible 2) offroad suspension is completely un-adjustable, and has horrible handling, so much so that the car cannot drive in a straight line 3) there is only 4WD available, which is weird, because it is mostly used in trucks (AWD is predominantly used in cars) 4) 4WD doesn't allow Open or Racing diffs in front, which is limiting 5) there is no "blank cap" option for the headlights 6) auxilliary lights on top of A-Pillar do not light up at all I hope those issues will eventually be addressed, because in general it is a great mod

Have you tried using the fog lights or any other aux light controls? Not every light is supposed to be on with high beams. the trailer even showed rear fog lights, i didn't even know that was a control function BeamNG had to begin with - same with window controls. I'd start with putting all the lights on the car and checking both the basic vehicle controls arrays and the vehicle specific control arrays to see if there's a control map you're missing. With this kind of detail, those lights not working is either a user error, or a missing controll map - I cannot see them 'not working at all' with that kind of detail.

@@wheelwrightpl9429 I poked around it a bit and I see what you mean. The aux lights for the front bumper section also don't do anything. the country spec lights that go on the hood do work with the fog light control. probably wise to put both of those light kits on the discussion page as a bug

Thank you! I use a Logitech G27 and its been in constant use since 2013. The force feedback isnt the best but its not loud, has lots of buttons and has been very reliable.

I usually delete/disable mods after I'm finished with them because 2/3 of my time in BeamNG is spent recording or prepraring for videos. By keeping my mod list small the game loads much faster.

This mod is perfect, I don't have much to say except that I love it. Just a small detail, I would like to add an option in the vehicle configuration of an electric roof, unfortunately I play a lot of career mods and we do not have access to the Nodegrabber To open the roof so only option for convertible you have to unlock it and accelerate which 1 time out of 2 fails. the 1994 Etk k-series mods from the author LucasBE has this option and in career mods it changes everything.
