simple answer - do what you love the most and confidence to excel in the field. choose the one which you can master rather than being mediocre, this is the key as industry need people with mastery now. hope this helps

They asked me about CTE sir ? can u explain If landingpath is Unix , i have stage table and Target table in Teradata..so validation between stage and Target is enought..or should we validate between Unix and stage also....if do what are the validations should we do

Validation at source is also important. Assume what if staging itself being populated wrongly as staging is part of etl process which is handled by etl process so we can't assume staging is always right. I will do a video for some different cases.

I think , the IT service market is getting improved now , you must start getting opening soon. Specially for etl testing, it's always a good profile and appreciated over functional testing so if you have good knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, Linux , shell scripting, python etc, demand will always be good . Just need to be good at these skills

Hi Sir, please can you tell about the validating huge volume of data in source and target DB's, it is the most common question in an interview. I tried to explain about except and minus but still there are asking how do you confirm that data is correct

Use sampling techniques: Instead of validating the entire dataset, consider using sampling techniques to select a smaller subset of the data for validation. This can be particularly useful if the data is too large to process within a reasonable timeframe.

I think - we should take this time for upskilling and redirect our energy toward it. Probably a bit of hiring sluggish but take this as a challenge to learn something new probably Ui and api automation if you are good at etl testing
