I absolutely love this video as I am strongly considering opening a shop on Etsy. I create fluid art vases. Question. I have many vases that I've accumulated during my learning period that I would like to get rid of. Do you suggest adding these to my postings of my newer more perfected items? Maybe as a sub-category listing Discounted items? Or should I open a seperate shop?

It doesn’t sound like you would need to open a separate shop. So discounting them and having them in a separate category should be fine!

Hi, thanks for the video! For the production partner in regards to POD, do we write Printify as the production partner or the specific print shop that is making the product? Also, how do we know what to put for address, is it the headquarters for the print shop or the closest one to where you live? This question is the only thing holding me back from continuing with my POD products. Please help!

I have an Etsy shop and have had for some time. I do both sewing and crochet. Since I started out with sewing my shop name sort of reflects that. When I decided to add in crochet work I just added 'and crochet' after my shop name. I have thought a few times of splitting into two shops. What's your opinion? Would I maybe sell more if I split?

Because those are such similar niches, they could probably work together fine in one shop. However, if you are feeling that crocheting is taking on a different theme or even a different brand, then I would recommend opening a new shop to avoid confusion with your shoppers.

An etsy "coach" says to not put any characters in between keyword on our title. But I see that it still works for a lot of people.. I always find keyword title without any characters is so hard to read. This sharing actually makes more sense

Yes, it is best to put a line or comma to separate keywords!

Hello. We just recently found your channel and love it. So much great content and information. My wife and I were thinking about starting and Etsy shop and had a question. My hobby is 3d printing and her's is crocheting. Is it feasible to put both into 1 etsy store or is it better to start 2 seperate stores? This more of a side hustle thing for us as I am retired with a great pension and wife still has a full time job that she loves and has no plans to retire any time soon. Hi. Would you know how come Etsy displays the number of stock available even if the product listing is tagged as "digital"? And how can I remove it? Etsy support team has not been answering my inquiries and follow ups. Would appreciate any insight. Thanks!

Every listing displays a quantity available regardless of if it physical or digital. I’d recommend just inputting a high number so it will automatically continue renewing for a while before “selling out”- you can always go back into your listing and increase the number again after a while to keep it high.

Etsy’s policy strictly prohibits reselling products with only a few exceptions, like craft supplies or party supplies. Make sure you’re following Etsy’s guidelines to avoid your shop getting suspended

@@kyokitty1 Yes Mandy I think is her name is another Etsy KZbinr who I like content, but her speech is way too slow and too low. It’s painful to listen to her she is strait ASMR. This video the speed is perfect for me and she’s keeping my attention by keeping a certain speed and variation in tone.
