This was some serious gold. By ET sharing his mistake and discovery using the DISC profile when relating to his daughter, I saw my own mistakes in a new light. We do need to approach people in a way they can relate to well. Insisting that my son and daughter operate the way I want them to is uncaring and arrogant. I need to respect how their minds work the way I want people to recognize and respect how my mind works. To me that is at the heart of Matthew 7:12 (The Golden Rule)

This is crazy. I’m getting back into my routine of personal development and motivation after almost a month of a break since finding out the passing of my mother. It’s still a Day by day process, but I am also a Forex trader! Spent all of 2018 getting the craft down and now 2019 is my execution year to really get my ball rolling and perfect my craft and accomplish my “Why.” This really just gave me more confirmation to never give up. The book he was referring to is William Moulton Marston's book "Emotions of Normal People" published in 1928. Marston explained that people illustrate their emotions using four behavior types: Dominance (D), Inducement (I), Submission (S), and Compliance (C). The DISC assessment was created by industrial psychologist Walter Vernon Clarke regarding the findings of that very book. Wikipedia has a page on it.

Here is where you begin E Dolow. DISC is a behavior assessment tool based on the DISC theory of psychologist William Moulton Marston, which centers on four different personality traits which are currently Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C). This theory was then developed into a behavioral assessment tool by industrial psychologist Walter Vernon Clarke. More Here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DISC_assessment
